If you’re looking for a trendy, upscale, underrated restaurant, this is your place. The atmosphere here is dimly lit, vibrant with people, and full of life. The bar is a great place to drink and eat as the staff are very engaging and take really good care of you. The cocktail menu is like no other and the food comes out hot and delicious. They have a well oiled machine here! The chicken sandwich is amazing! Perfect for a date night or celebrating with friends!

Lovely place on Hennepin Ave, just slightly north of the bridge. Simple but intentionally decorated.

Great service. Quickly came over, checked in and food came out quickly. Small menu but the food is unique and the flavors are there, not incredible but satisfying and interesting, which I appreciated. Drinks were strong and if that is something you indulge in, you would really like. They keep a water jug at the table.

We started at 5:00pm weekday, so during happy hour and ordered the Bougie Fries and Kale Salad (shared both) and they were great. If you don't like beets, you may not enjoy this salad but it was a great blend of flavored. We also ordered drinks, The Sangria and were both interesting. Great deals during happy hour. My friend also tried the Grape Ape and Sonder shots and enjoyed them.

Parking is on the street and can sometimes be tricky to find, so plan ahead if you have reservations. Street parking is paid parking.

They're known for their burger, which I will admit is pretty good. Reminds me of Parlour's burger, but it's nice that it comes with fries. We also got the buffalo rib entree, which was fine, but not quite worth the price tag. Their Goonies cocktail is unique, but not very strong and had a little too much ice for my liking. Would probably just come back here for happy hour next time.

I got the Bison Back Ribs served over polenta with a gastrique (that was a new one to me). Surprising to me, the polenta and gastrique stole the spotlight. I also got to try my friend's Ribeye Bolognese. It was hard to say which was better

Trendy, cozy vibe and we’ve always had great servers here. The drinks are always 10/10, we like the burger but the bougie fries were pretty dry/lacking. Great spot to meet for happy hour or any hour 😊

Can attest, great spot for a solo diner. Arrived on a Friday evening with no reservation and they made sure I knew I was welcome to a table and was not expected to sit at the bar, but I was glad I did.

The bartender was fantastic and made me a delicious hand-crafted n/a cocktail. Happy hour also great. Excellent tacos and pulled pork fries. The tacos were perfectly spicy (more than less if you're sensitive). The fries were very simple, but the pork was perfection. I look forward to getting the sliders next time.

For those not familiar with the area, plan to parallel park and pay a meter if you want to park close.

Will absolutely go again.

Had a very nice time at this place. The service was excellent and the bartenders were very friendly. Food wise I had the brussel sprouts which were cooked crispy and delicious with large chunks of pork belly, the Paccheri Bolognese - Ribeye was hearty and allowed for plenty of food to take to go. Drinkwise I had the old fashioned and I'll say that it was made differently than any old-fashioned I've had elsewhere. It wasn't bad but I don't know if it's still an old-fashioned. Either way, I'm not going to shy away from ordering one again in the future so definitely treat yourself to this place.

Wonderful date night spot! Very tasty cocktails and great service, we love being able to come to Sonder without a reservation and grab a seat at the bar. It’s my husband and my opinion that they have the best smash burger in Minneapolis…. Better than Parlour/borough. Sonder always mixes up their menu a bit based on the season but there’s always great appetizer and pasta options as well!
