The quality of beef is outstanding! As a cattle rancher myself I am a little picky but this place is great. The burgers are very large in size and juicy. I normally can not do cheese but their ranch grown dairy was great! You can tell they don’t have any additives to their products. The restaurant has amazing views and atmosphere. It does get busy as soon as it opens so be prepared for that. It is a walk up to the counter and order type of place and then they bring you the food. The service was super helpful and made great accommodations to food allergies. The gluten free bun was super tasty and homemade.
Inside the market store had great selection of food, wine and pre made meals. If you are heading up the mountain and need some groceries or meals this is a great place to stop. It’s not far north of Durango and very much worth the drive!

We absolutely love this place. We hosted our wedding Welcome Dinner here and it was a highlight for our guests. Knowing we were having our Welcome Dinner here, we came earlier to try the burgers and they were absolutely amazing (and so was the beet salad). They remained absolutely amazing for the burger bar at our Welcome Dinner as well. The staff was so friendly and helpful with organizing the event. The views are beautiful and it is also so fun to be able to watch the cows and go hang out with the goats. We could not have had a better experience and we plan to be back often.

During a 7 day vacation, 3 of our dinners were here or from here (2 at the Grill, 1 night steaks at home). The food is simple things done well, and all of it is fresh and tasty.

We come here everytime we're in Durago. Great spot with good food. Restaurt part of the building is beautiful and roomy with places to also sit outdoors. Store attached is cute and small but carries so many wonderful items including different fresh packed meats to take home and cook. They even have prepacked ready made food that you can heat up or throw in the oven like soups, empanadas, cinnamon rolls and pot pies (just to name a few). I liked that they also carried different spices and dairy products. Everything is so fresh. If your ever in Durango I recommend giving this place a try. We have been coming here since it started as a food truck. Not only will you enjoy the food, but the views are beautiful too.

The market was amazing. The buy and bake cinnamon rolls for breakfast the next morning were phenomenal. Ate at the restaurant for supper. The Signature Burger and Fingerling Fries were recommended, worth every bite. I had the J/R Patty Melt, so delicious. This was our 32nd wedding anniversary meal, we were also treated to live music. Also indulged in the house made hard ciders, again,, were not disappointed. We also did the self-tour and enjoyed the walk of the property. The James' have it figured out. Anyone going through Durango should do a fly by and stay a few. It is off Hyw 550.

Amazing food, setting, people, and food/life philosophy! I had the signature burger + fries w/ garlic aioli and the kale salad, and all of it was 10/10. The regenerative ag practice and giving back to the land makes me love this place even more. The farm store is also terrific with a wide variety of local products. I bought a few items from the store (including the cheese they use on the burgers at the grill) to make a charcuterie board and it was all SO good. Definitely check this place out!

Lots of cool and unique things to look at and/or buy for tourists like me and my family. Friendly folks. Clean and sanitary looking. Reasonable prices. Beautiful setting. Plenty of parking.
