Recently, a dear uncle of mine passed away unexpectedly. My husband and I rushed to Waipahu, Hawaii from Connecticut in order to take care of his arrangements, clean out the house, and put it on the market as it was left to us in a Trust. It was all pretty overwhelming. While I was there, I interviewed several real estate agents to list the home. Having been a real estate agent myself for the past 37 years here in Connecticut I knew exactly what I was looking for. Corinda Wong stood out from our first interview. Things work quite a bit differently in Hawaii than they do in Connecticut when it comes to real estate matters. She was an invaluable source of information and resources!! She explained many things to us regarding the selling process there that we had no idea about at our first meeting, Corinda told us that she would help navigate us through the process there on the island of Oahu. When we were ready to list, everything was executed flawlessly. The paperwork was easy to sign electronically and if we had any questions whatsoever, they were answered immediately. Time and time again when we needed help or had an issue Corinda or one of Team Wong came through for us and eased our minds from so far away. She even STAGED the home for us after I had removed everything out to optimize the selling price! This made a HUGE difference in the offers we received. The home went well over the asking price . All the way through the transaction the communication was excellent as was the follow up. I could not have asked for a better realtor and experience with Corinda and Team Wong! It’s a really competitive market and Michelle Love’s hard work and determination got our offer accepted. There was a lot of interest in the property, but Michelle was able to express our sincere interest in the property among other things to set us apart from the other offers.
