Hi Level Media was such a pleasure to work with! Jake and his team captured many perfect memories during our Maui beach wedding in Kihei. Hi Level Media came to the wedding prepared with multiple DSLR cameras, high-end video and audio recording gear, and even a couple of remote control drones with cameras on them. Jake and his team made the experience very comfortable for us and our guests. We couldn't be happier with the choice we made for our wedding videographer! Hi Level Media truly exceeded all our expectations! From the very beginning, Jake and his team were professional, on time, and maybe even more importantly, FUN to work with!

On our big day, Jake captured so many beautiful moments. He is highly skilled and creative. I could tell that he was thoughtfully choosing which shots to create. He has a fantastic eye for capturing moments that you will be so grateful to have. He always had our video’s best interest in mind, making sure to capture details with care and emotion. He gave great direction when anyone was in front of the camera. So, if you’re worried about what to do in front of the camera- don’t be. He will make you look great and tell you exactly what to do if you ever feel frozen.

I think another important thing I noticed about Jake, was how he worked with the other vendors. He respected the photographers needing to use flash and patiently waited until they had their shot so he could have the lighting he needed. This is an example of how he never gave up on a shot he wanted - he knew what his vision was and even if he needed to wait on another vendor, he was going to get the shot! He also worked with what nature gave him. When the lighting was right for sunset he got the shots, while not forgetting the beautiful moon that was rising in the other direction. We have the best combinations of the sunset/moon rise in our video. Gorgeous. This is an example of how he will notice what is going on around you so that you don’t have to! He will make sure it’s captured!

The final product - WOW. Watching the video feels like reliving the day all over again. The quality is nothing short of spectacular. The video was beautifully edited, with perfect music synchronization that enhanced the emotional impact. He patiently worked with me on choosing songs. I was having a hard time choosing which music I wanted, but he made sure that we were choosing music that mattered to us. He didn’t want us to rush into a decision. It's clear that Jake puts heart and soul into his work, and the result is a stunning portrayal of our wedding that we will treasure forever.

We’ve received countless compliments from family and friends who were just as impressed with the outcome of the video. I don’t think there has been one person who has seen the video that hasn’t messaged me saying that that teared up. If pictures are worth 1000 words videos must be worth a google. There were so many little and big moments that happened at our wedding that Jake captured with video. From speeches to small gestures of love made during vows, Jake was there to capture it all.

We especially loved having a drone to film the magic from all angles. Jake's knowledge of the island and high performance drone skills really came in handy when a rainbow suddenly appeared over the ocean. Jake was quick to launch the drone and film the most magnificent footage. We would 100% recommend Hi Level Media.
