Old Threshers is the week before Labor Day. It goes from Thursday thru Monday.
Farmer's market is also held here during the off season. At the time of this review, I was there to set up for farmer's market.

I've never been before and I've grown up in Iowa my entire life. I had a blast. I look forward to going back next year with a bit more cash in my pocket. Loads of stuff to browse and tons of smaller businesses to support. The shows were really cool too! I really enjoyed the train ride that we took towards the end of our day.

My family & I recently went to the haunted rails and had a blast! There was plenty of things to see and do for the kids. As well as a fire pit to sit around and warm up while waiting on the kids, plenty of food & fun for all ages Cant wait to go to the next event! See ya soon!.

Went to the holiday lights - definitely worth the small fee. It took us about 30 minutes to get through and great for kids for a short outting after Thanksgiving dinner. Would be nice if there was a night for walking through the light display.

LOTS of OLD tractors and farm-type equipment. Pretty impressive. We saw #1182 for the highest tractor display number. Good food from local churches with local Iowa cuisine (pork tenderloin, pulled pork, pork chops, corn, etc.). Steam train ride around grounds. Trolly rides. There's an old settlers area and an old town with jail, bank, saloon and hourly shows of old West robbery and shootouts. Country stars each year (Tracy Lawrence this year). Lots of vendors selling all sorts of "goodies". Vendors also on the town square. Tons of people camping/RVing.
We've been going on and off for many years. It's getting bigger each year. People in the area are super nice.

Spent a little time here over Labor Day weekend as a little mini-vacation with the granddaughter. Been a few years since I’ve attended a show, but it was amazing seeing it all again with a 4 year old in tow. We plan to be back again next year!
