It was like walking into grandma's open concept kitchen for a family get-together. I was there for Saturday lunch. There was a crowd, quite noisy, plus the voice of the cook from the kitchen.
Beef and dumplings was the soup of the day. It was hearty. The pork tenderloin meal was plain yet satisfying. The server could have asked customers if they would like to include pickles, a slice of tomato, etc. We'll, there is always room for improvement.
The display of desserts at the front of the restaurant was very tempting.
If you are not a critical eatery patron, this is an affordable family place.

This was my first time here. We were traveling through and stopped based on the other reviews. Everything was cooked perfectly, it was great tasting. Several of us had the hot beef with mashed potatoes. This is what they are highly known for, and the quality shows. Very filling and a can’t go wrong lunch. And of course, if you stop here, you must try the pie. The wide range of options are unbelievable. And the pieces are very big. Can’t go wrong on the pie. If you’re in the area, you really need to stop here. And the service was very friendly and family like.

This place is great!

The staff is great and our server Kayla was great too!

The restaurant and its facilities are clean.

The food is amazing and reasonably priced.

We ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, Hot Roast Beef, Oreo Pie, and Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie.

Highly recommend either dish.

If you're looking for a great place to eat, Klunder's Kafe is worth the drive from anywhere.

Parking is an issue, their parking lot needs to be bigger. We parked across the street at Kwik Star.

We stopped at the truck stop across the parking lot for the night, & my husband ran in to grab us food. We both got scrambled eggs, soft bacon, & he got a couple of biscuits. He said that the staff was very nice. The food was Amazing 👏. I'm a diabetic, so I can't have a lot of bread, but I did sneak a bite of one of the biscuits, & Yummy

Amazing food every time we take the 45 min drive north to come here. Every time has been perfect. 100% recommend at least once stopping here and eating. If you leave hungry it's your own not fault not theirs!

Amazing little mom and pop restaurant. Cute and quaint inside. Breakfast served all day. Service was average, food was amazing. Very reasonably priced. Food arrived hot and was delivered very quickly. If you're in the area, stop by this lovely hidden gem.

Stopped Friday around noon. They were busy but we got right in and seated. We both got the hot beef sandwiches!! Thry were delicious! Portions were enough to bring home for lunch on Saturday! Staff were awesome! Food arrived hot and it was delicious. We brought home 2 pieces of homemade raisin pie that were beyond delicious! Next visit will be for breakfast coffee will be the true test!!
