My experience at this dealer was quick, fast and easy. I searched the internet all over and Storm Lake had the model and color we wanted where other large dealers didn't. Robert and Cory in the parts department are phenomenal as is Jeremiah in the service department.

We are 3 1/2 hours from this facility and I wanted to give your company my business. My first visit was a little rough.

I had my Goldwing trike in yesterday for possible throttle cable R&R, air filter, new throttle grips, throttle boss, & weighted ends. We also purchased SENA 60S Bluetooth systems and had them installed in our new helmets. I also brought my buddy from our motorcycle chapter and he also purchased the same devices and had them installed in his and his wife’s helmets.

My appointment was at 10 and I arrived at 9:30. The whole process was to 3 1/2 hours.

Upon our helmets being done, we went to lunch. The shop had my phone number. I received no calls. An hour and a half later we returned to the dealership at 1:00 and was informed the shop needed to talk to me about my trike.

When I got back to the shop, my trike was still completely apart and I was told they didn’t think my throttle cables needed to be changed due to them only being out of adjustment, but they wanted me to check the free play. I knew factory specs is 2-5mm. Why didn’t the mechanic? I told them it was fine. Keep in mind the entire process was quoted for 3 1/2 hours and the trike was completely apart still at 1:30.

Moving ahead, it became 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 and my trike is still not done and I am still 3 1/2 hours from home and have my buddy with me as well. Several times my wife and I both inquired about what was taking so long?! All the had to be done is install the new air filter, grips, throttle boss, weighted ends, and out the bike back together. The mechanic working on my trike was extremely slow! A 3 1/2 hour job turned into over 8 hours! Had the had to replace my throttle cables, I would have had to get a hotel room, had my buddy’s wife come all the way to Storm Lake to pick him up so he could work the next day, and return home the next day sometime, all the while our dog was home in the kennel! This is not acceptable!

I was informed my fork seals were just showing signs of leaking and before we take a long trip, they should be replaced.

I will give your shop another chance, but the young mechanic who worked on my trike will never touch it again!

We purchased a lot of merchandise as well. We could have spent a lot more if your retail area had larger sizes available and riding boots.

I will recommend your shop to others for now, but depending on how my fork seals change goes, we will see. I really wanted to rate this at a 2 or 3 simply based upon the mechanic. But, Robert, Cory, and Jeremiah were exceptional and that is why your shop wasn’t rated lower.

I will say that my buddy, my wife and I were also looking at bikes and UTV’s. Not one salesman asked if we needed any help.

We had all the details of the transaction determined prior to my arrival and there were no surprises when it came time to ink the paper. They also had all accessories right there to look at and purchase. Everyone was pleasant to deal with. The showroom looked very nice with lots of things to look at
