We were happy to help install this sign for Home2Suites by Hilton. We did the work for COLITE signs last spring. Unfortunately, they have yet to pay us. No explanation, simply no payment. Beware!

July 2024, adding to the original review - It's now been over a year and Colite has promised several times to pay us - "sending a check", "will pay by credit card later this week", "we are having a meeting about this and will then pay you", etc. They are not an ethical company.

If they were in hardship, we would have worked with them on a payment plan or something, but instead they simply keep lying. It seems we aren't the only company they've treated this way. How can anyone work for a company that treats it's subs this way?

We will continue to tell our story to other sign installers and anyone else who asks!

SEP 2024 update. More promises: We will pay, will will consider to pay, we have a meeting about paying... Unfortunately, nothing happens. They still owe us thousands of dollars and have not paid. What a terrible company. How can people work for this company and feel good about themselves?

We will keep hounding them and telling the truth about them!

Colite unfortunately got us too. Did an install last August and have had the same experience as other sign companies. No payment and a total run around if they pick up the phone at all. They owe us thousands. I would not purchase any signage or other services from this company. If you are a customer, potential customer or installer for them BEWARE.

Subcontractors and client beware! I have been working with Colite for over 20 years. They have always chronically paid their bills late, but we tolerated it. Last March and May 2024 we performed two service calls for of all companies #Cartier! We covered the material and labor for both service calls and STILL HAVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR OUR WORK! Their sales rep. Hall Gladden promised over and over that he would get this in front of accounting (who by the way does not reply to emails or phone calls)! Take our advice, stay away from this horrible company. They will give you nothing but heartache and empty pockets!

For over a year now I have been trying to get Colite to pay for an sign install and permits for Volkswagen that they subbed out to my company. At first they would take my calls and they would tell me that they were setting up ACH payment for that week. Now they refuse to take my calls or call me back and I still have yet to be paid! Do NOT work with this company!!!!!

While the first job we did for them had some hiccups we did finally get paid. The second job we did for them they have not paid the invoice (going on 3 months now) and refuse to answer after responding "my apologies for the delay, i am following up with upper management and hope to have a response today. We haven't forgotten about you". This was a month and a half ago. No payment and no response to follow up emails. Not very professional.

Contractors be warned they do not pay their Subs. No complaints about the work done, they haven’t paid its been over a year a lot of empty promises .

Our sign company has worked with Colite since 2021 and have had issues every time with getting paid. It takes hounding and threats of not working for them anymore to get paid. This time in particular, we worked on several large jobs for them, namely, Lexington Medical Center and Tru by Hilton - we are about 9 months out and not paid. Their accounting department is obviously told to give the run around. This is unacceptable and not how you run a business.

After sign installation we attempted to collect the payment, no answer and only promise to pay until now no response to call or email. very bad experience after all that you do
