I've used VOW for or pharmacy communications needs for nearly 10 years. In the past, they were an exceptional provider. If we ever needed support, the technicians took our calls promptly and were always helpful and committed to solving the problem. In fact, I remarked to colleagues that VOW had the very best tech support, bar none. That is no longer the case. Now, when we call for support, we wait for 30 minutes routinely. The person that picks up the call may or may not be a technician and they are often not able to adequately address the concern. You might think that putting in a support ticket would result in eventual resolution but that's not always the case either as we had a support issue that after 30 day still had not been responded to much less resolved.

To add insult to injury, in the past six months, our monthly charges have increased twice by a total of 50% from $339/month to this most recent statement of $508/month. The first increase was explained and while I was not pleased considering the decline in responsiveness and capability of tech support, I didn't balk. The most recent increase is another story. When I called to find out the reason behind it, I was met with a confrontational representative who was unable to fully explain the change and instead determined to point to VOW's change in billing systems and whether info was in the old system versus the new system. In fact, she seemed aggravated by my question and the attitude was that "Well, this is just the way it is." I take exception with the lack of information as well as the attitude. We're the customer. And as a customer, I'm doing my due diligence. It should be met with solid information, rather than finger pointing, delivered in a patient, professional and explanative manner. Anything less is unacceptable. As a pharmacy owner, I have a hundred things to do on any given day. Ask me what just got moved to the top of my list? Finding alternate phone service providers is suddenly a priority.

While at one time I would have given VOW a 5 star review and told anyone who would listen how wonderful they were to deal with, at the moment two stars is gracious and I cannot recommend this company. My suspicion is a change of ownership. Attitude. Capability. Everything. Look elsewhere pharmacy owners.
