Best of Southern Utah, which Canyon Media produces and runs, is misleading and unfair to southern Utah residents. It is not a true assessment of the quality of products or services provided to us by these companies. It is simply a contest to see which company can stuff the ballot box the most. There seems to so many categories that any business can win the best in regardless of the competition. When I see a company boasting of Best in Southern Utah my first thought is to go somewhere else.
Response to your response...you validated my point that this is not to help the consumer but for businesses to self congratulate

We won a giveaway through Canyon Media. We messaged them when we were planning on picking up the giveaway win. We messaged them two days before the scheduled pick up date and they messaged me and gave away to another winner. They even had our telephone number and said if we don’t hear from you within 30 days we will only use this number to reach out to you. They gave our HUGE prize away to another winner without calling us or messaging us on instagram. If you do a giveaway with them just make sure they give the prize away to the right winner and not somebody else! We tried reaching out to them to receive the HUGE prize, but they were un able to give it to us. They said they would give us a prize, but it wouldn’t be the HUGE giveaway worth $4,000. Just sharing what happened because we were frustrated and disappointed on how they handled this giveaway win.
