Daisuke, Asakusa, Tokyo photographer was a “dream come true” during our mid-March family trip to Tokyo. Having a kimono experience with our grandchildren, ages 4 and 6 there were alot of details to consider. Dressing in confining kimonos, walking to the Sensoji Temple and keeping the kiddos in a happy picture taking mood were major concerns. Then came Dai, a happy, energetic and flexible photographer who immediately connected with the family and escorted us to the nearby temple grounds for picture taking.

Dai’ s warm and friendly personality put everyone at ease as he took countless pictures of the family in picturesque areas that Dai was familiar. His natural ability to take pictures and capture memories without much staging was masterful. Dai took into consideration our requests of appearing “thin” and “wrinkled- free” with humor and shot many memorable photos. Dai was playful with the children allowing them to be themselves and to be“painlessly” photographed.

Dai enjoyed the morning with us as he also shared cultural information about the temple, shrines and cultural traditions. Presenting us with fifty digital pictures, we will treasure these memories as we think of our magnificent kimono day in Asakusa. A huge thank you, Daisuke our new friend in Asakusa, Japan.

Carly is an amazing photographer that produces works of art with her camera. I first hired Carly to take my daughter's senior pictures, and I was so thrilled when I went back to see the pictures, that I bought all of them! They were all so beautiful and perfect, I just couldn't pick one or two! Her attention to detail and her knowledge when it comes to lighting are apparent when you see the finished product. Of course we wanted more, so we had her do our family pictures a few months later. Again, Carly didn't disappoint us...we had to buy all of those pictures too!!!

I called Carly Daniel to photograph my newborn son. She took the most beautiful pictures of him. I was so happy to work with someone who was so good with newborns. She was able to swaddle him up and put him in the cutest outfits to get the perfect shots. She was also open to my ideas as well. Carly is sweetheart and has actually become a new mommy friend of mine! Carly has great taste and really is a true artist. I will be using her from now on to take family portraits and self portraits of my little one as he grows! If I were you I wouldn't look anywhere else! Carly Daniel is the absolute best!

Seriously great work! I think Carly showed up in the background of one guest photo that I saw, so she kept a very low profile. She was also the perfect balance of keeping the photos moving but still allowing you to visit with loved ones. She certainly knows what she’s doing way better than you do at your own wedding but she’s done it more so that’s really what you want! I would recommend them again and again!

Carly has been photographing my family now since 2007. My husband and I first met Carly when we asked her to be our Wedding Photographer. Carly was professional, pleasant and a true joy to work with. I highly recommend CC Street Studio for all your photography needs. I have used Carly for multiple newborn and one year old photo sessions. I have always been nervous leading up to our sessions because we're at the mercy of my kids temperament and cooperation. I have left feeling a little hopeless at times, however, the results have always been stunning and exceeded my expectations. Some of my favorite photos have come from those hectic moments and it's all thanks to Carly's professionalism and expertise. She plans through the shoot before you arrive and the transitions in set up are seamless. Carly executes her vision efficiently and captures gorgeous moments. Additionally, her turn around time on proofing and product is always quick. I only wish I had more wall space for all of the beautiful images of my children and family that she has given us.
