Nice little library with friendly staff. Computers, magazines, newspapers, and well organized book sections. Not a great selection of sci-fi but plenty of fiction.

Funny how all these little east Texas towns are so unsupportive of local talent. Houston, Dallas and Austin elevate and endorse their local talent. The library's and bookstores are the same

I cant belive how hard it is to get a library card we just moved to jacksonvill and love it we have alway enjoyed the public library in any town we live in but this one you have to have a whater bill or mail yourself a letter to show u stay at the address NOTHING ELSE will work the if you are out side City limits you have to pay $10.00 WHAT? U CAN Tyler Longview Henderson. Show a picture ID and get a library card.
I don't understand what for who made these roles. They're absolutely ridiculous just to get a book for a child to read.
So I can only assume that they're not about children reading books Public library seems more like a private library

I love this place!! When I was younger, I was in the library all the time. Using the computer or renting books..all the time. Now that I have internet at home, I don't use the computers any more but I still check out books every so often. Everyone that works there is always so nice and helpful!

Mon & We'd 12-8
Tue, Thu, Fri 8-5
Sat 10-2

This is for the new location.

Will update my review when I am actually able to get in and use the library.

Update:
I've been to the new location twice. It's the same library, different location. Nothing new and exciting. If you liked it before, I suppose you'd like it now. I was hoping to see new books and a better set-up.

Library collection is not extensive and aged computer equipment. I really hope this is a temporary solution while an appropriate space is built.

Honestly the most rude people ever. I havent been to a library in years so im unfamiliar with the process of using a computer. I walk in, and sit at a computer since it was open and unlocked and i thought it was just public use so didnt know there was a sign in process. Well, the lady came over very rudely and told me to get off the computer and i know better than that... I didnt. After i said sorry, i was just unaware she continued as if i was a lying teen just trying to sneak extra time on a pc. Seriously i just needed to print my insurance lol.
