Beware : Wedding Coordination Nightmare ā Do Not Hire This Company
Our experience with this company was a disaster. We spent nearly $20,000 on her full event coordination services, though she originally pitched herself as a wedding event design and branding company. She overpromised and underdelivered, creating more stress than relief.
Pre-Wedding Issues
ā¢ She forgot a critical in-person meeting, even though I drove 5 hours from Houston and my mom drove 5 hours from Odessa to meet her.
ā¢ Every planning meeting was disorganizedāinstead of presenting options, she would brainstorm on the spot, dragging 30-minute calls into 1-2 hour sessions.
ā¢ Vendors kept asking for a timeline, which she never sent until 48 hours before the weddingāa major red flag.
Wedding Day Failures
ā¢ She was 2 hours late.
ā¢ We hired her as the Day-of Coordinator (DOC), but she sent someone else without notifying us.
ā¢ The DOC she sent was also late, leaving vendors without direction.
ā¢ Our wedding cake was placed in a freezer instead of a fridge, so we never got to eat it.
ā¢ The ceremony arch was wrong, aisle was not decorated, and no vinyl wrapping was at the base of the isle.
ā¢ My bridal bouquet was brown and ugly, and my bridesmaids had to send it back. My husbands boutonniere was FALLING APART.
ā¢ Her ādocā said she would be at the beginning of the isle for meā¦& was Nowhere to be found to fluff my dress or helped with my veilāI had to hold it down the aisle myself.(it was cathedral)
ā¢ No signage stands, leaving everything leaning against random surfaces.
ā¢ She never made the honeymoon fund barcode, so we received no monetary gifts.
ā¢ The champagne tower was improperly set upāmy mom had sent her instructions prior. (it ultimately ended up collapsing)
ā¢ Guests entered through the wrong entrance.
ā¢ Our customized flutes and cake-cutting set were lost, forcing us to cut our cake and toasting with basic plastic cups & utensils.
ā¢ The neon āHobbsā sign wasnāt fully lit.
ā¢ The dance floor wrap was bubbly.
ā¢ She borrowed greenery from the venue because she didnāt have enough.
ā¢ Fake greenery centerpieces replaced the variety of flowers and Chandelier candle centerpieces we were promised.

Unprofessional Conduct
ā¢ Throughout the wedding, she was often missing. At one point, my mom found her hiding in her truck, causing my mom to miss my bouquet toss.
ā¢ She agreed to refund us at least $5,400 after we expressed our disappointmentābut only if we didnāt leave a review.
ā¢ A year and a half later (since 10/29/23), she still hasnāt finished paying us back.
Now of course, we wanted to be understandable and we know that life happens and things come up, but we have physical proof that she goes on and on, to use life circumstances to not pay us back &ā¦ We later learned she used our money to invest in other weddings/events & props for her business, which is why she couldnāt refund us right away.
This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and dishonest. If you want an stress-free wedding, DO NOT hire her.
Update:
It is interesting she states she has refunded us $4400. When we have receipts of her only refunding us $3000 so far. Pay attention to how far apart the payments were. That right there tells you what a liar and the character of this vendor is. My mom had sent her the specific instructions WELL in advance on how to put the champagne tower together, which she DIDNāT READ, therefore she did not know how to do it. Letās be VERY clear we have had GREAT relationships with ALL of the other vendors that we worked with that day. This company was the only company that all my other vendors complained about. My photographers had to step in basically as the day of coordinators. Majority of our bridal party was on Time with only a few about 10 to 15 minutes late to the venue where her and her staff were 1 to 2 hours late. She has held not putting a review since the wedding over our heads & still hasnāt delivered. Iāve gotten more texts from her in the last 24 hours than I have in 493 days since this all happened.
