After putting 2 offers over asking price on 2 homes and it not working out, I decided to go another direction in my home buying search. I reached out to Carolyn via email and requested to end our Buyers Exclusive Agreement, which she refused to do. I worked with her for a total of 3 weeks, and met with her twice to look at a total of 5 or 6 homes. Carolyn could not meet at one of the homes to allow me to view it, so she gave me the code to open the home and view it myself. I didn’t realize at the time that as a realtor, this is unethical.

If you’re a potential buyer, be careful when signing a Buyers Exclusive Agency agreement with Key Cornerstone. If life happens and things change, you will still be locked into working with her, or at least paying her a commission, even if you met with her twice for a half hour and have since worked with a new agent.
