Meeting Sheenez from JL Solid Stone was a highlight of moving from NJ to SC. Her customer service was excellent. She took her personal time and took me to Charlotte NC to pick out quartz stone for my kitchen, 3 bathrooms & bar area. This family owned business is truly family from uncles to cousins to sister in laws they all work together. They were knowledgeable to every detail of this project. They were on time and communicated when needed. My kitchen was basically done faster than expected. My pictures are proof of the quality of there work.

I received a quote for white quartz countertops and went into JL Solid Stone's warehouse to pay my deposit after they came out to do the template. When I got there, they wanted to show me the slab, so they walked me over to a beige slab with brown flecks. I said this is not white and they said, "this is our white". I told them I wanted white, and they said that would be more expensive. I told them I chose them because of the price after shopping around and I felt like they we're doing a bait and switch. After a call to management, they agreed to match the price of their competition for the white quartz I had requested.

The day of install they we're set to arrive between 2:30-4pm. They never called and showed up at 5:30pm. They said they could do the install right then or they wouldn't be back for a few days. I was hesitant to allow them to install so late in the day, but I did not want the slabs to be damaged from being unloaded and reloaded into their truck at a later time. That was a mistake. They did a terrible job placing the countertops crooked on the cabinets and left their trash in my front yard. The 4inch backsplash had gaps almost a full inch from the wall in some places.

I called and requested they come back to fix it. They sent a manager out that said, "You can't live with this"? I said no, this is unacceptable. He said the owners would be out later that day. Nobody came. I had to call the office again the next day and finally the owner came. The owner agreed to remedy the problem by cutting into the walls so that the slabs would be aligned. I had to threaten to have them take the countertops back to get them to install them properly. This company will bait and switch you and then do a terrible job and try to convince you it is "fine".

If you work hard for your money, I suggest paying it to someone who will do the right thing from the beginning. This company truly couldn't care less.

Not very happy.. I purchased granite countertops for my kitchen and have a few issues. Right after the install I realized the gaps around my stove are way off and uneven. I decided to live with it and would put rubber trim around the stove to cover it. Fast forward a year my island is starting to crack.... now I'm just fully disappointed with the counters all around. It's conveniently right outside their "warranty period." I emailed jlstone and was told to call a repair guy and see how much he would charge to fix my counters. That's crazy to spend almost 3k on countertops to have these kind of issues so soon. I really regret my purchase and it makes me sad... Hopefully when I get these terrible counters replaced, I can find a company that better stands behind their work.

Everything went well as well as we’d hoped with replacing our kitchen counters. Our salesperson, Bob, was easy to work with and responsive to our concerns and requested changes. He followed up with us often throughout the process and spent considerable time helping us plan the flow of the stone in our complicated kitchen layout. Frank did a thorough job of templating which resulted in a quality outcome. The installers were efficient and professional. I recommend this business for quality workmanship and value.

JL Solid Stone completely replaced all my kitchen countertops with quartz. From start to finish the process, was smooth, professional, with exceptional craftsmanship. I am extremely happy with the final product and my kitchen looks completely different. Shannez in the front office spent a lot of time sending me pictures and showing me samples. Her responsiveness was extraordinary and I am very grateful for the top-notch work that this company provided to me. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.
