They built me a home. He talked a good game and said all the right things………then we signed. He asked for more money a few days after the contract was signed. I told him to eat crow so he tried to nickel and dime me throughout the project. He was extremely late on project, there never was a schedule. It was hit or miss on days he would work on my house. It took 13 months when the first thing I asked for was I’m looking for someone who can do it in 8-9 max.

Don’t use them but if you do get an attorney to protect you. Generic contracts aren’t the way to go with this one, they got those figured out.

If you are new to this, and don’t really understand the ins and outs of the building process….don’t trust these guys.

I spent nearly 500k with this company and wasn’t comfortable at all during this process.

Be VERY careful with this contractor and do your research. We hired AHC for a $90k remodel which ended up 40% higher cost and 4 months past deadline. On top of that, despite the fact that our home was a "down to the studs" reno, not one permit was pulled - nor was even one city inspection completed. While being managed by AHC, our property was red-tagged by the city and work stopped completely for unlicensed and shoddy work. Despite six weeks of subsequent back and forth with AHC -- literally begging him to take care of the inspections with the city -- we ended up having to complete the inspections with the city ourselves and had to spend another $10k to correct plumbing issues. (Large screwdriver in the pipes, non-code compliant gas lines... plus so much more.) Two of our large picture windows now have cracked (less than six months after Adam Heath completed construction.) And on top of that, now that temps are declining and we are using our heating unit for the first time, just yesterday we learned the electric wiring is faulty. Thank God we caught the problem before the wire completely melted, otherwise it could have been a very real fire hazard. The number of issues with our home is truly stunning. Again, BE VERY CAREFUL with this contractor.

We have a long, very positive history with Adam Heath Construction! They re-did our siding in late-2018 (still looks brand new and has held up very well), and also helped us with near-full-remodels of 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and an expansion of our laundry room to include a pantry.

Adam, Abigail, Hayley, and their whole team were a pleasure to work with. They were transparent about cost the entire way, they were courteous and professional, they were excellent with communication--truly everything you could want from a contractor. The folks who entered our home and did the work were also courteous and respectful of our home... And I'm not sure we could ask for more than that.

Grateful to the AHC team--we will continue to be their cheerleaders going forward, and would be surprised if we didn't work with them again in the future.

My husband and I have a long history with Adam Heath Construction. We began with an exterior update almost 5 years ago and have since had a full interior remodel. Our remodel was extensive - we had failed sewer lines under our foundation which meant our entire interior slab had to be removed. AHC did an awesome job from start to finish, from the interior demo to the finish out, including custom cabinets that are beautiful, and a new open floor plan. I cannot speak highly enough about the attention to detail and the beauty of AHC's work. Since the remodel we have had a perimeter fence and iron gates installed, and they are equal to the quality we have come to expect from Adam and his crew. I would absolutely recommend them!

We initially hired AHC to remodel one bathroom and convert a bedroom into a master closet in our very modest 1450sq ft home. When we freed up more funds, we expanded the project into a full house custom remodel. It took us several months to settle on the details and materials, during which the only thing they did was demo, and that was fine. Hiwever, once we were prepared on our end, work still did not progress at a reasonable pace. They would work for a few days, at most, then disappear for weeks until we put pressure on them. Communication is awful! Once he had our money, we could hardly ever get Adam on the phone. Instead, we were supposed to email Stephanie, who talked to Abigail, who talked to Adam, who talked to Cody, who talked to the subs. So many mistakes were made because of this unprofessional communication. The final straw was when they delivered our very expensive “custom” cabinets and every drawer was 2.25” deep or less! That’s when he walked off the project leaving us after a year, with no fully functioning bathroom or kitchen. We have to live in an RV in our driveway. The stress contributed to my husband having a stroke! Now they are trying to charge us for items we haven’t received and work they have not done. Unless your project is VERY simple, and you are in no rush, I would not advise even considering Adam Heath Construction.

My wife and I contacted Adam Heath Construction for a 2nd time with two projects in our home. We had our kitchen upgraded with new countertop and vent hood addon plus giving our kitchen cabinets a new look. In addition, we had the contractor replace our existing bathtub and surround with a walk-in shower in the guest bathroom. We had a few increases in our initial allowances on fixtures, however, these were NOT surprises. We as homeowners selected other items that were above the estimate. Their work is exceptional the crews on our project remain focused and particular with each item of work. Now we did have to exercise our patience a bit to have our project completed in a timely manner, and I am certain the workloads dictated the delay. In saying this, we would rather rely on Adam Heaths crew to a work their magic in the projects we plan.

This is the second job I’ve had Adam and his crew do for me. This time it was for my business and he worked around my schedule so it wouldn’t interact with my customers. He got the job done on time and in budget. I definitely would highly recommend using Adam and his guys.

Adam and his people are the best. I highly recommend this company. I have used their services 2 or 3 times over the last 5 years, and they are great about working with insurance, confirming and complying with the wishes of the and moving in a swift but thorough fashion. Kudos!
