Today, we visited the Alamo Drafthouse in Lubbock, and it was an incredible experience! We were in one of the smaller theaters, which we absolutely loved—it felt so cozy, and we enjoyed the intimate setting without the crowd. The food was delicious, the service was impressively fast, and the seats were super comfortable, making the entire experience even better. This theater consistently delivers excellent service and quality, and it’s hands down one of our favorite spots in town for a movie night. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great movie-going experience!

Great service here at this theater, ordered our tickets online to beat the rush when going to see the movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. I like the fact you have an eating table you can eat your meals on, I was flabbergasted that you can actually order real meals not just popcorn, hot dogs and your normal food at theaters. Bathroom was clean and I like that this place reminded me of the older theaters back in the day. Only issue we had here was the popcorn, once we got home we felt sick from the popcorn, went home and threw it up. Not sure what was up with the popcorn

I held a private music based event at this location last night. The team helped me make my event as great as I had hoped it would be. They provided me with tables and a microphone. I formed a game plan for the order of events, and the projectionist executed it perfectly and helped make the night memorable! The managers were very welcoming and accommodating. The wait staff did an excellent job and there were no complaints about any food or drink orders. I plan to hold more events here in the future and I would absolutely recommend them for any private theater events!

Me and my family purchased tickets for a family friendly movie screening on 12/26/2024. We had 5 children and 5 adults. They refused to let us in because my niece was under 3 by ONE month. The employee said they have a strict age policy but could not show me where this policy was clearly spelled out anywhere. In fact on their official age policy on their website it only states that children 5 and under are able to attend a “family friendly” show. There is nowhere where it says anything about 3 and under being restricted. The employee was not willing at all to work with us and seemed really eager to just refund us and get us out of there. Will never go back to this place. We ended up at Tinseltown and it was a much better experience.

The concept of this theater is great, but the service is consistently disappointing. Even coming early, ordering food early, and writing down our order clearly, we have yet to receive a single complete and correct order. Each time we’ve ordered the bottomless popcorn, either no one came to take our refill order or they took the order but it was ultimately never refilled. It must be chaotic to keep track of everyone’s orders, especially once it gets dark, so it is understandable that something would be missed every once in a while. Unfortunately, this was our fourth exceptionally bad experience at Alamo in a row.

If you'd like a night out on the town or just a sweet escape, head to the outskirts of Lubbock and give Alamo a try! Hands down the best popcorn in town!! The menu would be $$$ for me, but for some may be a standard price. In the very least, it's tasty! Chow down on a juicy burger or a crunchy pizza! They've got even the most discerning palettes covered! From bottomless popcorn and fountain drinks to the finest wines and cocktails - Alamo caters to patrons from all walks of life! Come to Alamo for the best cinematic experience the 806 has to offer! Look on the website for their specialty celebrations i.e. Rocky Horror Picture Show, Harry Potter Night, etc. Alamo Drafthouse is the place to be!

Went to go see Nosferatu tonight. I appreciated having servers and not having to get up for refills and the service was good. To me the chairs are not very comfortable and I didn’t like that there wasn’t a full barrier between chairs making it kind of awkward if a stranger is sitting next to you. We got chips and queso that was pretty good. We also got a pretzel and the pretzel itself was really good but I didn’t like the cheese that it came with. We got popcorn and it was really bad. Popcorn is half of the reason that I go to the movies and it tasted like regular microwave popcorn that was slightly burned. We also asked for extra butter and didn’t get any. Or it didn’t taste like it anyway.

We went to a movie party today, 12/15/2024. We signed and tipped our receipt, $5. We left our customer receipt, the serve then tried to charge a larger tip, their reasoning was because the receipt wasn't signed or tipped, (which it was) I let the manager know that authorizing any transaction that isn't signed for is fraud, especially when the tip has changed. They refuse to refund us. Don't waste your money here, the service was terrible on top of that, and the food had no taste, neither one of us finished our plates.
