I remember on visits to Durango, prior to living here full time, a Paper that I enjoyed reading. You gave me a real sense of what the heartbeat of this town was about. You added to the character. I love the family aspect. There is a choice coming though. You have a influential member of your community with way to much say in what is being printed currently. Someone being entrusted with your future that should not be. When your paper is being deliberately utilized to ingratiate bad actors/criminal conspirators, it comes down to hard choices. It is difficult to call out long-term friends when you live in such a small bubble. You're going to have to make this decision sooner than later. I do still believe that you can make it through this, but you're going to have to change. Be brave enough to do that difficult thing and you will be respected for it when the smoke clears.
