We have stayed here at least 1/2 dozen times in the past two years. Never disappointed. Fully stocked with the essentials we need, great rate, and perfect location. Owners are great and each of the cabins we have stayed in have always been clean. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

we stayed in cabin 12. courteous management and housekeeping does a really good job keeping the place clean, well-stocked and comfortable. unfortunately this cabin had small roaches that came out at night. good for the price

Love this place! We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in & saw a beautiful room! Very clean & we expected it to be clean but we didn't expect it to be so nice! The outside looks average but it doesn't give any tell to the inside. There were cups, plates, coffee & everything! I wish we would've took a picture before we slept in the bed. The owners were very friendly as well. Definitely the place to be & we will be back!

I’ve stayed here multiple times and everything was fine.
This time, however, I get a call from the lady that owns it and asks me if that’s my dog laying by the tree. Did I mention he was on a leash? He was. I said” yes ma’am he is.” Then she tells me they “don’t take dogs.” I told her I had not ever let him in the room. She told me they don’t take dogs period for safety reasons. He’s a 15 lb feist squirrel dog. Then she said they have signs. I told her I had never seen the sign. She says, “well if you’ve ever looked at the front door I don’t know how you didn’t see it.” I took that as she called me a liar.
So I go to the office to discuss the check out and charges and I see the sign. It says “ No Pets”. I honestly had not ever noticed that sign but if I had, I would’ve assumed it meant in the rooms. So having said all this, up until now I had really enjoyed staying here. Not “nice” but plenty nice enough for the price. I hate it that this happened but I will not be able to stay here again.

I travel all over for work. I have never been to Oklahoma and I got to say I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was probably my top 5 favorite hotels ever. Absolutely gorgeous with the most amazing woodwork throughout the whole place. These wonderful people put me in one of their loft, apartment type places and I was only a minute from the job I was doing. I absolutely fell in love with this hotel. Would definitely recommend

We love Black Rock Roost. The owners were so friendly. Wonderful rooms that were immaculate. Not one worry during the stay. Sat on the balcony and watched the early morning traffic go by. So very nice. We will not visit Talihina without staying at Black Rock Roost.

This place was so charming! Depending on the size you need, there’s adorable little cabins and a small house with two bedrooms and full kitchen. The staff was super accommodating putting me in another unit when I needed an extra night. Both units were fantastic! Service was top notch and friendly. I will stay here everytime I visit.

Very quaint little place. I stayed in a room rather than a cabin. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Located right on the main road easy to find. Safe parking. Full kitchen and bathroom exceptionally clean . I will stay here every time I'm passing through from now on!
