This was our first time here, we were not disappointed. Staff was super friendly and the service was good. I wouldn't say the food stood out, but it was solid. It was great to be able to get a coffee drink for the road trip home. We'd return for a bite if back in Canon City.

I had my lunch there on my birthday as we were staying near by. The food was delicious, left no crumbs literally!
We had:
Grilled Chicken sandwich: It was light and just right, not greasy. Served with french fries that were so good even after awhile.
3 egg veggie scramble: My fiance loved it.
Mixed Berry Pancake: If you are reading this, please please order that. It’s their house original recipe and the fact that we had the pancake in the end, it was no longer hot but still was the best, crispy on top and fluffy on the inside. Served with whipped butter it was heavenly. God I’m craving it now.

The food was delicious butttt all 4 of the people at my table didn't enjoy the large pieces of garlic in the potatoes which gave the potatoes a strange taste and it also tasted like they make their potatoes with water which gives a different odd flavor as well.

Best BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich I've ever had - and I've had lots to compare to! It was also the messiest I've ever had, but that's because they filled it to overflowing, which was awesome! Fries were these funny little shoestring types, but that worked great for picking up the overflowed BBQ pork. They have a pretty impressive range of options on the menu including a mountain meatloaf I almost went for. This place is worth remembering the next time I pass through town!

I've been to Cañon City twice, and both times I've ordered the Salmon BLT at Mugs, and both times have been some of the most satisfying meals I've had.
Delicious. Great menu selections. Excellent service (we see you hustling, staff!) Tasty cocktails!

We were passing through town and stopped based on Google reviews, we were not disappointed. We both had the patty melt but to tell you the truth I saw so many other peoples plates that looked so good we will definitely be back! Service was excellent even tough they were absolutely packed with people.

This use to be my go to place. I loved Mugs. While they are a bit expensive, I felt like it was worth added expense because it seemed like a home town family place. I would frequent Mugs nearly every Friday night for Prime Rib. I definitely didn't complain about the Prime Rib. After about three months of going every Friday or Saturday I was hit with horrible rude service. I initially asked if the happy hour drinks applied to the restaurant area. I was told no. That was fine, then I requested a Bud Light on draft. I was told they stopped serving it that way and now only serve it in the bottle. I was okay with that. Many places do that. I than asked if I could please have two salads with my Prime Rib as opposed to anything else for carb reasons. I was told I could not do that. The server was very rude and and by this time, I felt as though I could get nothing out of her but a "NO". I told her that I have been getting it that way for months and understood that I had to pay extra. I just decided that I wasn't going eat at Mugs. I told the rude waitress to let her manager know that I wanted my check and would not be returning. I noticed the waitress discussing something with a lady behind the counter. Thinking it was the manager, the lady came over and without introducing herself, she immediately jump on me and the other person sitting at the table stating that they had never given happy hour prices to the people in the restaurant. When I stated that we didn't have an issue with that, she cut us off and continued on with why they don't do that. I really didn't care they didn't do that. I told the unknown woman I wanted my check and I would not be returning. Without hesitation, she got our check and walked off. Her attempts to keep us as customers was the last thing on her mind. I found another place to get Prime Rib when I want it. I don't get hassled for getting two salads. It is in Pueblo West. Mugs is not my go to place. They ruined a great experience for me and the waitress who I had never seen before was rude and condescending. I liked to be able to go to Mugs because it was local. When places get to big for their britches and think they can't be replaced, they can. I will not go back and will continue to tell my story of how poorly I was treated even as a regular customer.
