Contra Studios is an exceptionally one-of-a-kind space with an experience that you can't find anywhere else. The studios are located more than 100 feet above the streets of Chelsea, Manhattan, NYC, and serve as a perfect space for all things creative.

Just when you think that the luxuriously spacious lounge (which also has a kitchen!) outside the studios is impressive, the interior of the studios goes above and beyond expectations.

This space can accommodate a 20-person crew easily, with plenty of room to move around comfortably. Contra Studios is the perfect space to host a creative event and is easily one of the best studios in the entirety of Manhattan.

Great studio with included full lights and grip. The 5,000 sqft facility is always private to one client per day which is great. We will definitely be back.

Staff and management was super helpful and down to earth.
The space is awesome and can accommodate and entire team easily. Theres two main spaces with a beautiful natural light CYC and a video Cyc. love this place

I Was super happy when i found this studio,not only its in the city,but its big space ( 2 studios),it is clean,AC works great,they have allready the lights setup so once you come ur good to go right away. I will deff use it more. Its good for big production as well as small ones.

Contra Studios literally blew my mind!!! They have more space than I could imagine, with multiple studios. We were in heaven as we were able to shoot two models at once!! Not only that they have the best products and lighting to provide the best quality outcome!! Our shots came out superb! They also provided all the color pallets to shoot with including green screen fabrics and rolls. With a humongous meeting and common area, Contra Studios is one of the best in New York City.
