I was staying at The Depot for a conference, and saw that Crooked Pint had the best Jucy Lucy, 3 years in a row. I had to try it!

It did not disappoint. I actually wonder if it needed more cheese.

Service was great. Burger and onion rings were delicious.

I was surprised to spend $30 for a burger and a soda.

Customer service is horrible & the food portion don't reflect their price. I ordered a burger & this what my side of fries look like. The only thing good about my experience is the woman from Baltimore. This is definitely a Minnesota restaurant.....🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Had a really great dinner to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Was fortunate to have Kaitlin as our server/bartender. Let me tell you, she makes an outstanding spicy Bloody Mary. She took excellent care of my friend and I also noticed the gentleman running food was really on top of things. Had their special, which was a Tennessee chicken sandwich and my friend had the Asian pork tacos. We really enjoyed both. Have been before several times and will definitely be back again.

An Electrifying Night in Downtown Minneapolis: Game 7 Thrills

Tonight was one for the books—Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 7 of the NBA Western Conference Finals! The Timberwolves were trailing by 16 points in the third quarter, but as soon as I settled into the restaurant with a beer, the game took a thrilling turn. The Wolves made an incredible comeback, catching up, taking the lead, and ultimately securing the victory with dramatic shots and impressive blocks.

The atmosphere was electric, with local fans erupting into cheers and chants. The energy in downtown Minneapolis was absolutely contagious, with howls of excitement echoing through the streets. Congratulations to the Minnesota Timberwolves on their win! The night was filled with roaring celebrations and the unmistakable sounds of Timberwolves pride. 🐺🗣️

Update: I hadn’t gone back for a couple years until the other evening. The Groupon deal and the great location near the stone arch bridge drew me back…. However, I can’t change my rating as the service was still not the greatest and the food was so/so. The beer cheese was extremely over floured leaving a gritting feeling in my mouth, not the usual smooth beer cheese texture. The juicy Lucy was smaller than the bun, and although I subbed out more turkey for no ham on my sandwich, there was still only one slice thick of turkey. I wanted to re-like this place, but unfortunately I will not be back. The upside is, unlike other restaurants in the area, who are charging a 15 to 18% service fee to help offset costs with their employees, my opinion is that they have added it into the price of the food, which lets you know upfront how much your bill will be, which is great.

This has been a go to for the past few years… Unfortunately the service has never been something to write home about. I suggest that management teaches a hostess how to seat people coming in as a couple with none of our children in tow we probably don’t want to be seated in the area with a large group with many loud small children! Don’t get me wrong, we have 6 Of our own, but date night is for a reason and it isn’t to watch other people’s children run around screaming and jumping on couches!
The food here is typical pub type food. Nothing has even been super great that we leave and tell others about it though.
* sadly when you get a burger that should have avocado on it, 2 tiny slivers doesn’t really fit that description! I would expect that a1/4 of an avocado would be more like it!

I came here for some wings and beers and was happy with what I got. Nothing blew my mind but the beer selection was impressive and delicious. Not a real lively crowd for a game but plenty of screens and a large projector. Staff was very friendly and helped me pick the best wing flavors.
