We had the best experience with our guide, Justin! I have a 10 and 8 year old and he was awesome with them. The trail was beautiful, and the horses were wonderful. An hour was perfect for our first ride, but we will definitely go longer next time!! We can’t wait to come back and go again!

This is the best horseback riding experience I've ever had. I've been to several different ranches, and the horses at Dels were so gentle and sweet. Did not have any problems with them at all, they were very good at their jobs. Our trail guides were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the area and the horses. At one point, some ponies from the ranch who are free to roam, made a visit to us, and wanted to follow us on the trail, but our horses did a great job in handling the small intrusion. Definitely a unique experience. I will definitely visit again, and tell others to visit as well. Ray has some great stories about his experience with horses!

Amazing ride in the snow through beautiful country. Our guide Oakley was wonderful, charming and an incredible young woman. We had the pleasure of meeting Ray Heid before our ride who has to be one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met! The ranch is located about 30 minutes from Steamboat and it is a beautiful drive getting there. The horses are beautiful, well kept and healthy. Their business is only and all about the riding and it shows. I ride 3-4 times a week at home but my husband does not and we both enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend!

So fun!!! Definitely a must do when in Steamboat. Oakley and Lilah were so sweet and great guides! All of the horses were well behaved, and even my husband felt comfortable and it was his first time ever on a horse!!

What a magnificent morning for a trail ride with Ray and Oakley leading us through the autumn colors. The sunshine and changing seasons seemed the perfect excuse to schedule this- not something we had ever done on a vacation... but why not?. Signing up and completing the paperwork online a couple days ago was simple. The terrain was diverse and the views were spectacular. My husband is 77 but our trail guide, Ray had him beat at 88 (or so we were told!). Everyone, young and old, had a great time. Highly recommend.

Best experience ever! I had only gone horseback riding once in my life and it hadnt been a great experience but we ended up coming to Del’s on our trip to Steamboat…the horse they picked for me was perfect! She was so sweet and careful where she stepped even in the snow where you cant really gauge how deep it is and it was such a nice relaxing experience! I spaced out a couple of times with how relaxed i was. Definitely recommend if you are not an avid horse rider or are nervous about riding horses. Would definitely come back!
