Had a great experience working with Julien for our engagement shoot! He was very communicative from start to finish, and knowledgeable about the pros and cons of various locations, based on the lighting of the time of day. Did a perfect job implementing our vision, while offering suggestions to "guide" us how to pose and get our good angles. Definitely recommend if you're looking for photos that are more artful as opposed to the typical traditional shoots.

We had a wonderful experience working with Julien. He scouted locations in advance to ensure good backdrops for our family photos. He is engaging, so our kids were at ease from the start… and he was incredibly patient. When we thought we’d exhausted a location, he’d have a new idea for just my husband and me, or just the kids, and some fun ideas for us all. He never tired of shooting, showing us his commitment to the project and ensuring that we had a robust selection of photos from which to choose. The result are beautiful photos that capture us as a family, not looking remotely contrived or overly posed. They’re natural, representative of us — while also successfully showing front facing smiles (no easy feat with younger kids). We will absolutely work with him again. His talent, creativity and personality make it so easy and fun.
