Absolutely the worst paper ever. Have paid for $400-$600 in classifieds every month for over 8 years. No one in classifieds knows how to do their job. Systems are archaic. Do not spend one dime with this organization as it will be a total loss for you. They should be hit with fraud for the services they are selling without actually keeping up with them. And good luck talking to a human in any department.

Be careful about subscribing and then cancelling a subscription. They seem to resist cancellation in different ways.

I moved to another state, and then called to cancel my subscription. I was told by their customer service that my subscription had been cancelled. A month later, I got a bill in the mail saying they had the right to continue to charge, and that I needed to pay $50.06. I called customer service again to cancel, and they said they had no record of my earlier cancellation and that they would cancel effective the next billing date. Since there was no record of my earlier call (except in my verizon phone records) I would have to pay a charge of $9.06 for papers they delivered to my former address.
Supposedly you can cancel your subscription on-line. I tried that several times, but the website kept switching to the cover splash page whenever I tried to select the cancel subscription offer.

I have interacted with various people at the Eufaula Tribune and Dothan Eagle over the years I lived in Eufaula, and always found them to be credible professional journalists, and while $9.06 is better than $50.06, their customer service leaves something to be desired.

My newspaper hasn't arrived on time for a few months now. I have left multiple complaints about this and still my paper (that I pay for!) Is still late. Getting a hold of customer service is next to impossible and whenever I do manage to get through, they are rude and borderline incompetent. I echo the sentiment the other reviewer said I wish we had more (better) options!

We have a delivery problem that is on going. Getting in touch with anyone at the paper is impossible. My husband held the phone for over two hours without talking to anyone. In the past week and a half we have not gotten a paper 3 times. Hardly a week goes by that we get a paper every day . Too bad we have so few options when it comes to news papers.

I went in for an interview and the building is so outdated. The reception area is unwelcoming and desperately needs to be renovated and redecorated. It was not a great first impression of the Dothan Eagle. The staff was kind. But the offices could use some investing in.
