Walking through the winding streets, you’ll find lots of boutique stores, art galleries, and cozy cafes. The town has a relaxed yet lively feel, with live music spots and friendly people. It’s a perfect spot to wander, shop, and soak up the creative energy. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy scenic strolls and hidden gems!

This is probably the cutest little downtown I've ever seen. It's built into the mountainside so there are many many levels to the area and lots of really cool staircases, bridges and walkways to explore. There is a nice variety of shops, tattoo artists and food and drink to make anyone happy. Lots of history and stories to hear. Find a local and get them to show you the "portals" to underground Eureka Springs.

20241007 The architecture was impressive, but the shops are ok with some souvenir shops. Lots of building packed in a small space, and driving around is climbing up hills and rolling down more hills. Don't recommend driving in a big truck like the F150 or Ram. The streets are too tight for big trucks. Some of the buildings remind me of New Orleans. I just drove around.

Crazy busy on Halloween weekend but such a cute area. Parking was impossible so we parked at the visitors center and biked down. We have E bikes so going back up the hill wasn't too bad. Bathrooms are hard to find. No playground available for kids but there is a train station near the downtown that looked fun.

This is the cutest downtown I have ever visited. I love that this is a historic town and everything is preserved. The architecture is stunning to look at and you definitely feel transported into some yester years. All the shops are small individually owned businesses (except Earthbound Trading Co) with its own unique flare to it.

There is sooooo much to see and do in the downtown alone. You can spend all day perusing all the shops, walking trails, climbing staircases, finding springs, and just spotting all the hidden pieces of art. I'm pretty sure you can spend several days doing all these activities not to mention all the different tours you can purchase for history of the town.

When you walk into the shops so many shop owners are super friendly and willing to talk or share a piece of their knowledge about the town. It was cool to wander upon the shop that was once the original bank and another one that was once a title company. The interior design is just different than all the other shops. Amazing architecture inside as well as outside.

This place feels like your walking up hill all the time and maybe sometimes downhill. Be prepared for your legs to hurt from the amount of walking you will be doing on hills and stairs. Despite hurty legs, the visit here is worth it and I have plans to go back.

We had heard about this place and wanted to see for ourselves if it was great. Definitely worth going to visit a time or too. Parking is very limited and fills up quickly. The better way is take a trolley ride. So find a good place to park near the city trolley routes. They have stops all though the town. You can't miss them. If you do, just ask someone from the area.
The best thing is to buy an all day ticket.
If you buy tickets on a Trolley, they Only Take Cash.
The Main Depot will take a Credit Card. Just a little heads up.

Now for what they have to offer. Small shops and many more shops. About any type of food or beverage that you can think of to enjoy. Many different types and styles of buildings are there to see.

Walking around is a little difficult for some older adults. Street is always going up or down depending on how you go.
The trolley driver suggested that we ride up and then walk down as we did our shopping. Trolley stop is number 83 is a good place to start.

My Tip: Allow 2 hours for a short visit. 4 to 6 hours is the better option.
Some Shops are Not Open on Monday or Tuesday. Most are Open Thursday - Sunday.

So check it out if you are able.

So much to see and do! Terrific selection of shops. The fudge and peanut brittle at Two Dumb Dames were fresh & delicious. Took a guided tour that included visiting the Underground (OG, Eureka Springs) and gave excellent info about the town's history including some of the fascinating people who have called this town home. Highly reccomend!
