I almost always shop Gateway but they reduced the store a couple of months ago. You need to be aware of sneaky advertising. The price is in big font and the " strings" are in little font or on a completely different signage. Example: soda 3.99 a 12 pack Must buy three!!

This is the best store. Fully stocked, but not to the point of being overwhelmed. The meat department is really exceptional the customer service is very good. Overall, clean, efficient, great sales at the meat department(that really benefits low income customers.) Also, great sales and low prices.

Recently purchased 2 bacon wrapped sirloin and some shrimp skewers for a camping trip a day later. One of the sirloin was so tough it couldn't be cut let alone eaten. The next night we went to eat the shrimp and discovered they were spoiled. Only had the 2 days and they were refrigerated the whole time. Just be careful when purchasing meat products from this Fareway.

Okay, most of us shop Fairway because the meat counter, right? You really can't go wrong here unless you're looking to buy the chorizo sausage. If they could ever figure out how horribly underseasoned their chorizo is, I would go the full five stars because they go above and beyond in everything else. Maybe it's a midwest version, but most of the time you can hardly see or taste the seasoning at all. And yes, you should be able to see the difference... from across the room. Compare below authentic chorizo and Fareway's.

Excellent customer service and attitude of employees, very professional and compassionate. Could not find any split pea soup after asking a gentleman about that we searched and was told they probably didn't have it anymore, half hr later, almost done shopping the employee found me and must have searched and found split pea soup with ham and bacon, I prefer plain so I can add my own good ingredients, thank you so much and keep up the great work all employees.
