I am a small business owner in North County that was contacted by Fivestars by Sumup and they said that they would be able to increase my business. It has been a year now and not only has my business not increased but it has not generated any new clients. They get you to sign up by giving you false hope that you have nothing to loose because they will give you your money back if they don't produce. This is a lie! Not only do they refuse to help you generate more business but they hold you hostage and force you to pay. Best advice for a small business do not allow Fivestars to weasel their way into conning you out of thousand of dollars that doesn't go towards increasing your business.

Signup is easy but when you want to cancel your service it’s not so easy. Worse than canceling a gym membership. Had to speak with several different customer service reps. Then told I would need to setup a phone appointment to cancel service just got off the phone with that rep who just instructed me I’m not allowed to cancel service. I’m confused.

They are a total scam when it comes to closing your account. I received an email saying my account would be closed after the year signed for . Then they decided to add another year because I didn’t contact them in time to closed my account even tho I had already asked to close it and got the email saying it would be closed . Now they are making excuses why they can not close my account and I’ve been emailing and calling their company support team for 3 weeks , I call , now they don’t pick up , and I have to email multiple times during the week to receive 1 email backing giving me excuse after excuse , even tho I have an official email from them saying it would be closed and showed them email . I’m still being charged . This is absolute horrendous service.

Do NOT use this company. They are dishonest and make it ridiculously hard to cancel with them. I used them for five years and have had issues from day 1. I only stayed with them so that my customers wouldn’t lose their “points” in our rewards system. Last week they took out almost 5K from my bank account for “fees” they apparently forgot to charge me, and that set me over the edge. I will never use this company again, and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. With so many amazing options out there, this certainly isn’t one of them.

Ivehad fivestars for about a year and absolutely NOT worth it. I have had zero increase in business, which was a key factor in the sale. Now i am locked in a contract that is just siphoning hard earend miney from my small business.
