We fished for Halibut in Icy Strait today and it was amazing. We lucked out on the weather and our captain, Lucas, was a great and knowledgeable guide. We caught about 30 fish and were lucky to have Lucas cook some up for us on the way back. Super fun, highly recommend Lucas and Game Creek Guides!

Captain Lucas and his wife were so accommodating! They extended the trip to make sure we were able to participate in sea fishing, even late in the season! Captain Lucas knew the right sport and we caught Halibut after Halibut. Soooo many!!!! He was even able to process, pack and ship our fish home to AZ. Great communication & very professional! If you’re looking for an AMAZING fishing trip, this is the place! We will be back on our next trip to Alaska!

We could not have asked for a better halibut fishing experience! Lucas was so fun to be around. We caught many fish and enjoyed cooking up the catch. It was like hanging out with a good friend. We were so happy, we’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Lucas was an awesome guide for our halibut fishing day. Our group caught 25 fish in the 4 hours we were out on the water. Lucas cooked up a halibut we caught, for a sample on the boat. There was a nice inside area of the boat (complete with a bathroom) and room to sit and relax. Thank you again, Lucas!!

Best extrusion of our trip! If you're looking to go fishing on your stop at icy straight point look no further. Brenda's communication to book the trip was fantastic and super simple. Captain Lucas is defiantly a veteran and will put you on the fish! Very personal, knowledgeable guy and fun to be around. This is a local company verses some others and it shows. Cannot recommend them enough.

We had a spectacular time fishing with Captain Lucas and his first mate Findlay. He was patient and accommodating of my boys who both had a blast. We caught many fish and the trip was capped off with delicious freshly prepared cod on the boat. He is a Hoonah native and it showed in his ability to show and teach about local wildlife as well as get us on 4 different species of fish during our afternoon.

I’ll just start by saying my daughters wanted to give him 100 Stars! Lucas was Excellent! I took my family of 6 including my kids. Everyone caught great halibut and he treated my kids like his own! Included them and helped them catch a fish while we caught fish simultaneously! As we called it a day he then took us up close to a few humpback whales! If and when we return to Icy point and Hoonah we will be rebooking! Can’t wait to get home and eat some fresh halibut we are having shipped home!
