The police aren’t focused on serving for the good of the city. They spend their time looking to ruin people’s day/night in any way they can. They speak to people in a condescending manner. They write ridiculous tickets & are clearly on a power trip. Let me add, not all of them are. The supervisor for example, is a kind, honest cop that is focused on doing his job right & doesn’t let the authority get to his head. He is a respectable, stand up guy, and the other officers should learn from his example, & stop harassing their own citizens for the fun of it.

This is a GREAT city. Although it is one of the fastest growing cities in the state, it still has a small town feel. We have raised our family here, started our business here, and plan to retire here. Helena is the safest city, has the best leadership, and the greatest citizens who are passionate about their town. I highly recommend Helena, Alabama to anyone wanting the best city to raise their family.

Not safe one bit, now the area is rather safe, but with these aggressive and terrible-at-life police officers they have patrolling the area and through other peoples neighborhoods just to hand out tickets like as if they were lottery tickets for speeding 5 or 10 miles over limit is not worth having.
You city people need to work on making the city of Helena safer to live in instead of making it worse for people. There's money literally spilling out of everyone right now and to only cause more crime and hurt into this world you have police officers who don't give a d*** about anyone, BUT THEMSELVES. They've been doing the same thing for years and years and you wonder why there's so much crime, break ins, the list goes on. They aren't here to protect anyone, BUT THEMSELVES and their loved ones, no one else. Make it fair for everyone, I MEAN EVERYONE, to live peacefully and happy in this world too, then and only then, there won't be so much crime and stuff happening in the world.

This city should do some thing to save Montana and women’s rights because right now Montana doesn’t care about women and their safety and their feelings typical males

I lived in Helena for 6 years and it was a great place to call home. Helena (Alabama) has a diverse selection of activities for everyone. Check out the Buck Creek Festival and duck race held each year in spring as just one example of fun things to do in Helena. The schools are superb and receive accolades from many organizations. As a former member of the City Council, I can attest to the great service provided by the city including the Fire Department, Police Department, Sports Complex, and many other departments. Make sure to visit Old Town, the walking trails in Hillsboro, and Joe Tucker Park with walking trails around the pond.

I don't approve of the police in Helena hiding in the dark and pulling over the local residents. In their own neighborhood at that. I'm sure you can find somewhere to make your quota other than the locals in there neighborhood.
With inflation skyrocketing on everything your timing is not appreciated.

i am part native american my families fought in the revolutionary war and both sides of the civil war! my family came to America in 1647 and helped create American. my shirt tail cuz is George Washington! enough said i can not believe Helena took down the confederate fountain, that the city would stoop to the level of racism of the east coast. as for the native americans of montana they had very very little to do with the civil war? has montana governing body's all came from others state because this does not represent the people of montana. i am a disabled vet and the city of Helena slapped me in the face making me wonder why i fought for this country. Helena is a Disgrace in my eyes.

Helena is a great town but has the worse traffic I have ever seen. Road improvements are badly needed to handle traffic volume
