Went in to upgrade my phone. I was told this would be a 15 minute process. Representative showed me the phone I wanted and started the process and deactivated the Sim from my current phone which was working just fine at the time. As we are going through the upgrade process, he comes to the conclusion that my Colorado ID app isn’t being excepted by his system And he is therefore unable to complete the upgrade at that time. We now wasted 30 minutes because he failed to realize my digital ID wouldn’t work when I showed it to him in the beginning. So I take my old phone and leave. Tried to call my partner to explain why I’m running so late and realize my Phone no longer works. So I immediately turn around and go back. I inform him my phone no longer works and I’d like to speak to his manager. He refused to get his manager, and as I became understandably frustrated, he aggressively told me to calm down and that he would , find a solution for me. Two hours later I left the store with a nonworking phone and the only solution I was offered was buying a very low-grade phone and a prepaid plan for around $500. I was never allowed to speak to the manager or directly speak to the customer service , this place is a joke and I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere

Short version, if you don't have to have AT&T, don't use High Mesa. And not for the first time, I can't imagine a worse experience.

My phone was showing some message that made no sense, so I stopped in to get some help, I sell for a living so my phone is my job. The girl had no interest in helping. When I showed her the message that said no sim no connection, she said it was a glitch. I left the store at 4:00 pm drove the 7 miles home only to find out I could not place a call or text. Used my wife's phone to call the store to get an 800 number for help. Turns out either the sim card or the phone has failed. Drove back to the store, figured out it was the phone, spent $400 to upgrade and change phones. It's 5:30, data is transferring, but it taked a minute at 6:00, the girl tells me she has to lock up, 20 minutes of data transfer left. She says it will work, it doesn't. 2 hours later, I 'm on line trying to figure out how to restart the data transfer.

I've had issues with the Samsung phone, and have been there for help a few times, I finally only go to High Mesa Communication if it is an emergency, other than that I go to the AT&T store in Grand Junction where they actually try to help instead of looking at you as an annoyance.

Again, if you can use any other cell service. It's not worth the aggravation to use AT&T and High Mesa Communications

I should have done my upgrade at High Mesa Comm. Stupidly, I did it via Att Chat. And ATT shipped my new phone from California to Memphis, despite all the confirmations of my Colorado residence. And it has taken six chat attempts to make changes to my wireless plan, and once again they screwed it up. My bad for not doing it all in the store. They are much, Much better than ATT direct. Yes, during these strange times you need to make an appointment, but you can and then meet with an intelligent and knowledgeable human rather than a herd of Virtual Dunces, most of whom are rude and from some Pacific atoll. ATT phone sales and tech support used to be damn swift. Not anymore!
