I am happy with my choice to stay at this hotel for 9 days while in town for business/schooling! The staff were all very kind, courteous, and helpful! I definitely plan to stay there again for my next trip to Minneapolis! The room I had for my stay had all the conveniences of home for a great value!

My stay at Home2 Suites was great and within walking distance of activities during my stay.

Room:

My room was Studio style with a kitchenette, and a king size bed. The mattress was comfortable and little on the soft side if that matters.

Breakfast:

There’s hot breakfast served every morning with a variety of options to choose from. I believe there is some form of eggs (scrambled, omelette, etc) and protein (bacon, sausage, ham, etc..) served every morning.

Fitness Room:

There’s a fitness room which includes a few treadmills, dumbbells, and a couple of Peleton bikes.

Parking:

No on-site parking! There’s a third-party valet parking available for a daily fee in addition to the cost of your hotel stay. My vehicle was parked about two blocks away from the hotel. There’s also an additional cost for oversized vehicles such as trucks, vans, etc..

Our home away from home. Room was clean and service was friendly throughout our weekend stay.

George was very accommodating and friendly during our breakfast. we came a bit late and he made sure we were well taken care of.

Parking isn’t free. We parked at 5th street towers and spent 35 dollars for the three days

The valet service the hotel uses stole 3 credit cards and 3 target gift cards that were mistakenly left in our vehicle and attempted to use the debit cards at Target while we were in a Vikings game. We began getting fraud alerts during the game. The valet is $57/night and your next closest option is to park 2 blocks away and pay for a parking garage if you park it yourself. The hotel directed us to the valet service to handle the situation and the manager of the valet service does nothing and says they aren't responsible for personal property. I was told by the valet attendants that there are cameras where our vehicle was parked but the manager of the valet service won't address if those cameras were ever looked at or reviewed. I assume whatever attendant stole from us still works there so be cautious if using the valet service.

As a Hilton Honors member with 2 kids in college at the University of MN Twin Cities, we frequently stay at the Home2 Suites Minneapolis University location. The rooms are nice and big and its close to the university. After our stay last weekend, we will never return.

We stayed in room 231 and the guests in room 230 were extremely loud all night long. There were multiple people shouting, yelling, screaming, playing video games with the volume turned all the way up. We could feel the base and it sounded like they were in our room. None of us got any sleep because Airpods and earplugs would not drown out the noise.

I walked down to the front desk at 7pm and all she said was that quiet hours start at 10pm. I called at 11:30 pm. I heard the phone ring in room 230 and nobody picked up. The noise continued until 4:47am. It was a horrible stay because nothing was done.

Rooms were clean & and spacious, but the bathroom door was broken & unable to close.
Service-breakfast guy, George, was amazing. He was very friendly, knowledgeable of the area & seemed to care about helping people. George was our kitchen/breakfast server

Perfect location close to the Metro if you need to go to the airport or Mall of America! US Bank Stadium is about a 13 minute walk and the Mississippi riverfront is a 10 minute walk. Nicollet entertainment and shopping area is only a 8 minute walk.|Check in was fast and friendly! Room was super clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable! The full sized fridge and microwave came in really handy!|Breakfast was good but don't get there right before they close because they were out of sausages. That was my fault for being lazy other than that it was tasty with lots of good choices!|I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be downtown! It was perfect in everyway!

The hotel is very hard to find using google maps. It is located behind the police station. The valet parking is expensive. There is limited street parking. Staff was nice, hotel was nice and smelled good.
