I had a totally fabulous experience at Idea Studios and the sound engineer, Janoa, was super cool and the space was vibey. We worked on a spoken word poem that will be made into a short film and Janoa was super patient and supportive. A great first experience at a professional studio! Also just another plus, as a female artist who went to the studio solo, Janoa made me feel super safe! 10/10 recommend

First time being at this place for a recording session. Was blown away the moment I stepped in and took a tour. This is a real legit studio with everything you could imagined from the classy yet modern designed interior, to the equipment used for making music and recording, to the vocal booths. This is for a recording artist who is serious about working on music and for people who want to get into music production. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to record their music.

Awesome set up very clean environment!
I was able to record mix and master my whole album in a very comfortable and professional setting. Being an artist and an engineer the studio environment was very versatile and easy to operate. Lots of space to create! And always good vibes. Best quality I’ve come across in Hawaii in a long time. Highly Recommend.

i booked a no engineer session 4 hour block, which was a good price for the gear/plugins available. computer was great, had no issues loading tons of plugins. studio owner was responsive, and helpful in getting set up.

Overall a great studio experience for my first time!

Would definitely recommend for any artists/engineers/producers for a space that is professionally run and has great gear for a good price.

A/C also works great, and isn't so loud that it would affect recording.

Very family oriented, yet professional at the same time. You get more than your dollars worth working with these guys. All you have to do is come prepared with a good attitude and they handle the rest. If you got your sound they’ll make it better, if not they’ll help you find it. I’ve came to island from Texas multiple just to work at idea studios. This is family and more importantly they make me sound good! I’d recommend all artists and people who’re looking for work spaces and music related things to reach out and come vibe at idea studio!
