Second time out with Robert and couldn’t have had a better time. Robert picked us up in his Mercedes Sprinter right on time and’s got us back to the ship in plenty of time without feeling rushed at all. The convenience of the Sprinter is really nice, toilet, tv , cold beverages throughout the day we enjoyed lots of local snacks Robert had available while exploring the island.

Robert made us feel very comfortable and relaxed all day, unlike some of the other cruise ship tours we’ve done where we were constantly worrying about time. It was an unhurried pace the most of the day AB’s was perfect for us.
Hopefully we’ll be back for a third tour in a couple years. Mahalo 🙏

We LOVED our tour with Robert! He picked us up in his comfortable vehicle and toured us all over the island. He was pleasant, full of information, and shared great Hawaiian snacks with us (best pineapple we've ever had!)! We loved the itinerary he created for us as it showcased many of the stops we wanted to make (Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, Kona Joe's Coffee Farm, Snorkeling in Hilo, Volcano National Park, etc). Thank you Robert for a fabulous time on the Big Island! My family of 5 really enjoyed this tour!

We had a great day with Robert! We were a party of four adults, and his van was very roomy. He also had snacks, including fresh fruit for us to snack on. It was so nice being driven to beautiful sites, and dropped off at the entrance, without having to board a bus and herded around with a large group of people. He was also very conscious of the time, since we were on a cruise and had to make it back to the ship at a certain time.
If ever in Hilo, this is a great private tour!

Great tour option for small groups. It was better than the cruise lines exertions. There were 6 people and Robert. He took us to see the Volcano, Rainbow Waterfall, Farmers Market and black sand beach. He shared some historical facts along the way. He was very accommodating and made sure we were all having a good time. He made sure we were back on the ship on time.

We took our first tour with Robert in 2016 and had such a wonderful time that we booked another tour with him in 2024. Robert truly stood out from all the personal tours we experienced while visiting the different islands. His tours are exceptional; he takes you to fascinating locations and shares valuable information. He doesn’t just provide a tour—he creates an experience.

Robert is kind, hospitable, and feels like family. His Sprinter van is extremely comfortable and even has a bathroom. He always brings drinks, local snacks, and the sweetest fruit you've ever tasted. Last time, we enjoyed pineapple, Maui potato chips, and even champagne! This time, we had baby bananas (which were delicious), pineapple, macadamia nuts, juice, water, and even beer.

You won't regret touring with Robert—it will be the best tour you've ever taken!

Robert was a great tour guide! We did the volcano tour and the Kona coast tour. The volcano tour was so amazing and when we were done at the lava tube he had freshly cut fruit and snacks ready for us that were delicious. I was able to snorkel on each tour and each time the water was beautiful. He knew a lot about the island and was able to guide us to have the best time. He also was very conscious of the time in order to get us onto our ship.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful trip visiting four islands of Hawai'i, but the tour with Robert was the highlight of our trip! He was incredibly communicative, enthusiastic, kind and knowledgeable. We really wanted to see as much of the natural wonder as possible, and he helped us design a perfect itinerary. We never felt rushed and had the perfect amount of time at each stop to enjoy Rainbow Falls, the turtles of Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, Kilauea Crater and Steam Vents, the Thurston Lava Tube and more. He provided wonderful fruit (best pineapple and banana ever), juices, and more that we could possibly want to eat or drink! He even suggested a slightly out-of-the way macadamia nut / coffee plantation which provided a coffee tasting and information on their different processes (Hint: if you buy enough of their wonderful coffee, they ship to mainland US for free. No cramming it in luggage!) We had requested to have a late lunch at Kuhio Grille, which we very much enjoyed for their specialties. It was the last island before we were ending our vacation, and Robert provided the perfect adventure to treasure always! I would definitely recommend touring with Robert. You will have the exact experience you want, in the comfort of his Sprinter van, with a wonderful ambassador for the island!

Robert was the best tour guide. Knowledgeable and very kind. Went out of his way, along with a guest (Jeff), to help my husband who had to utilize a mobile scooter. Highly recommend! Great tour!!
