This is a great distillery and asset to the community. Highly recommended and affordable tour where you can bottle your own Old Pali Road whiskey and purchase for $50. Learned everything about the distilling process and their story in bout half an hour, which left plenty of time to taste their flagship drinks. Few distilleries we visited make such a variety of spirits (videos, gin, and whiskey) that were all great. Really nice bar area to hang out on the couches with a large selection of handpicked cocktails featuring their spirits.

We did the whisky tour for my husband’s birthday. The tour was great, we learned a lot…and drank a lot. The guide/distiller was funny and interacted with the group well. Would definitely go back, highly recommended! Plus, we love the cat!

Great tour of Ko’olau Distillery. Guide was passionate, and knowledgeable, plus learned the correct way to consume whiskey/gin. The tasting included 4 different samples. So glad we got to support a local company that loves their jobs. Recommending this to all who venture out to the North Shore!

The distillery tour was really cool and informative. The staff is really personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed bottling our own whiskey and learning some of the history of the company. Plus, we visited on a Friday night and they had awesome entertainment that was just the right vibe! It’s a must see on Oahu!

Ko‘olau Distillery is a true hidden gem! Tucked away in a quiet spot, it has an amazing atmosphere that makes you want to stay and soak it all in. Their staff is top-notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to share their passion for what they do. My favorite drink on the island is their chili pepper water—it’s perfectly balanced, full of flavor, and unlike anything else. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great drinks and an even better experience. Food trucks and kitty cat Whiskey are a bonus. Highly recommend!

Did the tour through not go city pass on a Thursday
. Wasn’t much of a “tour” just stood in one spot (in a hot garage) the entire time. Chico was cool and funny. But the tour itself was severely lacking. Also all winery and distillery tours I’ve been on you get souvenir glasses. But you won’t get that here. We basically paid to do a little bit of their work bottling. Tried 5 liquors that were pretty good. To improve i think a souvenir shot glass with their name on it would be worth standing in that hot place the entire time. We did learn a good bit about the process but it should’ve been more interactive or involved more movement around the room. Also did not see any food. I would not do it again as is.

Excellent cocktails. The sipping cream was so delicious and way too easy to drink! Very nice vibes. Location is a bit hidden, but works for the vibe. My only complaint… the bartender was pretty bad. He got our entire first order wrong. Each of us got a different cocktail than ordered. Worked out that they were all good
