This is what a library is supposed to be. The woman and I'm sorry if there are men haven't met them yet, but the woman who work here are absolutely amazing. That alone is an understatement. They are constantly adding books to the general publics attributions and are open to being inclusive. It has been nothing but a joy each and every time I go. Let's add during the recent storm that hit east texas once they had power the amazing ladies opened up till late feeding and giving a place for family's to watch movies and grab something to eat while the served the public. I can write on about the things they are doing to grow our community and bringing us together in different ways but the easy answer is come on in! Sign up for a library card and show some love from their summer reading program to reading to Littles on Thursdays to crochet! I feel like there is nothing the can't accomplish with the their kindness and inclusiveness to be ready to help everyone and give reading material to every type of person they will win!!

We visited the library today to make some copies and use the computer/printer. MS Dottie was wonderful and very helpful. Just another reason why Gladewater is a great small town

Original Review: Small-town library, not too roomy on the inside, but then again there's never many people here. Donations are taken at the back door. The books are never put into circulation but are used to help with "Friends of the Library" - which sells them and uses the money to help with funding. Beware parking here because of homeless people that hang out.

Staff is friendly and very helpful! I enjoy going there, even if I have to pay a fine! Lol!!
