My winning bid was handled quickly and professionally.
But the really winning 'bid' was when Legacy handled my own personal auction at 14088 U Ave, Dike IA. I didn't know them, hadn't heard of them but decided to go with their services. I had just lost my husband of 45 years and had a lot on my plate but Legacy was so understanding, considerate, and professional, I never once regretted my choice of them. The system and speed of what they do is amazing!! We had 9 outbuildings and they handled it all...lock, stock, and barrel! I felt they made the best money possible and more. You have really missed out if you don't choice this company!

overall it was very good. most of the people are friendly and very helpful. The site is easy to navigate and bidding process is easy and for the most part we have gotten pretty good merchandize. I would have gave a 5 star rating but have had a couple of problems. Got a curio cabinet (wall hanger) that had all the top ornate pieces in the picture but when i got it, it was missing a couple of them. Also got a Grandmother clock that was chain driven which whomever transported it to them must have wound too tight and it will not work. i believe it can be fixed but it will be a lot of work if i even figure it out.

Have bought ALOT of "things" from this auction house, but this was the last time....The last item I purchased was listed as a quilt with a picture taken of a single quilt. Failed to mention (or take a picture) that the quilt had a tag that said "made in China." Sent pictures to the receptionist as per her request. She acknowledged my concern. Spoke with auction service owner "Leon" who's response was "well, it was sewn together." He was dismissive. Totally misleading auction company. Would not recommend.

While the world of on line auctions is becoming the norm and not the exception these days, the folks at Legacy really seem to have their act together. They've recently converted to their own on line platform and it's noticeably better than using the third party platform they used in the past. The employees are very helpful and the gals running the computer and paperwork are courteous and sharp as tacks!! Their buyer's premiums are lower than most other outfits as well. I'll continue to use their services for the foreseeable future...AND advise others of their excellent service.

I met Leon and team from Legacy Auction Company after my father passed away and I was trying to get my arms around his estate. We had multiple properties, and more than a dozen garages and storage units piled to the ceiling containing items that had to be sorted through, shown to family, labeled and auctioned. I was also managing the liquidation of the estate from 4 hours away. Trust and communication were critical to me. We also had over two dozen larger items like cars, trucks, and other pieces of equipment many of which didn’t run and had to be moved. It took almost a year to get everything sorted and sold through multiple auctions from all the properties. Leon’s communication, care in looking and finding items important to the family and organization of multiple sales of thousands of items was amazing. I can’t thank Leon enough for everything he and his team did in helping our family through this difficult time. He has great people with integrity working for him that are honest and worked hard to take great care in handling all auctioned items. I highly recommend Legacy Auction Company as they will do whatever they can to meet your liquidation or purchasing needs.

We purchase several items from auction house, but one of the items was not was what is was made out to be. Called Legacy since we are long time customers from out of state and have purchased lots of items and have spent thousands of dollars with them. Leon was not helpful and not willing to make it right, and could care less that he was misleading his customer. Well they have lost us as customers, and just want people to BEWARE OF THE FRUAD THAT IS GOING ON!!!!!!!
