I cannot say enough about this place. We were so lucky to have beautiful day with little wind and some blue skies. It was absolutely gorgeous! We didn't off to a great start through no fault of theirs by getting our car stuck. When you pull off the roadn make sure you go to the left if you drive there. Blake and Andy had to do some extra work to get our car out (darn suburbanites!) and then corral our group of 8, but we were glad there wasn't anyone else on the adventure to hold up. They got us suited up and educated and off we went. It was a first for all of us so it was a blast! We went up and down and around and all over. Even up to a ridge looking out at Steamboat. We spent quite a bit of time with the bison, and Blake was very knowledgeable about the huge animals. We learned a lot, and we were fortunate enough to see, Leo, the rare white bison. It was so much fun getting some freestyle time out in the open as well. We both got to drive, so we could get the full experience. Highly recommend and would do it again if we come back this way. There's other animals, too, including a friendly ranch pup.

This was a fortunate find, the day was beautiful blue skies, the tour guide was very informative and knew a lot about the bison. The fact that we got to get up close in person with the bison was truly amazing. I loved that we had a little bit of time in a big open field to Cruise the snowmobile. My Family absolutely loved it, an unforgettable memory.

We had a fantastic snowmobile tour experience @ Lucky8 Ranch! Shuttle pickup was on time for our large party located in two separate Steamboat codo areas, the staff was top notch and ensured we all had the appropriate gear and training to hit the trails. We spent over two hours exploring the vast ranch property; the highlight was a stop w/ the bison herd. It was simply incredible to be so close to these beautiful creatures in their own natural setting, the landscape and views were breathtaking! Highly recommend Lucky 8 Ranch for your Steamboat snowmobile excursion!

My family of 4 enjoyed a 3-hour ATV tour of the scenic Lucky 8 Ranch. Our tour included a 20-mile ride, where we were able to stop and take in amazing views like Sleeping Giant Mountain and Steamboat Ski Resort. The views were indeed amazing, but the coolest part of our tour was the bison and bull feature. We got to park our ATVs and watch the bison and their babies feed, while our fantastic guide, Emily, explained the rich and touching history of these magnificent creatures. Then we drove through where the bulls were feeding and were able to get up really close to them, and we even saw a white one!

We are so fortunate to have learned so much about these animals and why it’s important to advocate for them. We were able to purchase Bison short ribs, roast and jerky which all was so good. If you’re in the area and are interested in beautiful views, fluffy cows, and little bit of fun history, Lucky 8 Ranch is hands down the place to go!

Our family recently went on the tour at lucky 8 ranch. We had a great time! The tour guides were kind and accommodating. Our group consisted of family members aged 9-75 and we all enjoyed the adventure. The terrain was fun and we got up close to the bison. Highly recommend the tour!

We had the absolute best time snowmobiling yesterday at Lucky 8 Ranch. When we arrived, we checked in and were fitted with helmets, googles and boots. (No need to bring your own). We then headed outside for safely instructions and overview of the snowmobile and how to drive it. I have to admit, I was scared out of my mind! The staff was amazing at calming my nerves. Once on the snowmobile we had a fun 2 hours of touring the area and visiting the Bison herd up close. Once in a lifetime experience! The paths were well groomed and at sometimes challenging - which was great! At the end we had a free ride in a wide open area where we were able to let it rip.
We visit Steamboat every year and have taken snowmobiling tours in the past. Lucky 8 Ranch is far superior to any other company. Their snowmobiles are top notch and they have the highest safety standards. We will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful Bison ATV adventure! Our daughter loved seeing all the baby bison with their moms. The weather was perfect and the fall colors were starting to show. Emily was our leader and she was very knowledgeable about the bison and the area history and information. It is very dusty so be sure to bring something to cover your face! They supply the helmets (required), and goggles (not required but I highly recommend).

This was an AMAZING adventure. Truly majestic animals. I am impressed with how the ranch handles the animals. Our guide (sorry, can't remember her name but she was new...<2 months on the ranch) was OUTSTANDING! The views were fantastic. I enjoyed every aspect of this tour. Highly recommended!!!
