cons: (this is more of a negative experience with the company rather than the location)
The ways to reach their customer service is bad. Try calling? No one picks up. Leave a voicemail? No one returns your call

Set up auto-pay? The system sets the wrong date for the auto-payment and you get charged a late fee.

Try to reach a customer service agent on their website at 1pm on a Tuesday?
"Thank you for your message. Our agents are currently unavailable....". Repeat multiple times until you give up

I don't know the experience of other storage businesses, but this is just frustrating.

Just found out this morning from the insurance company Orange Door that Public Storage no longer manages this place. I've had no contact from ANYONE about this. I have no clue if my belonging are still safe, if I can still access the building, who do I pay rent to and do I even still have the space to rent. Waiting till I get off work today to go over as I can't get Public Storage on the phone or chat and there's not a direct number to the location. Had I not received a letter from the insurance company I would not have known this happened. Letter dated 2/21 and received 2/27, the date the supposed change in management happened.

Staff was great - really helpful and quick getting me in. Facility is clean and accessible. Spaces may have some obstructions so the size could be a little tight, but other than that great experience at 1/10 of the price Manhattan Mini-Storage was up to.

I was asked for a good review 2 times, once when I checked in, and again when I came back after Thanksgiving day to put clothes in. My 3rd time I went I actually took the time to stand on the top ladder and take photos and video of my items. I discovered mouse droppings along the corners and edges. Politely I took photos and a video to show an employee. She told me, "I work from another location and don't know if they told you, this location has had rodents."
So basically I was more directed to give a good review. However, the 1st two visits not one regular employee decided to let me know there was a rodent problem on the phone before move-in, while move-in, nor my second visit when I was asked again to give a review, but in the employees defense he did not know I already gave a review until he checked. I'm not upset, but that should be made known to someone.

Just wanted to share my wonderful experience with Public Storage on 92nd St. and specifically I want to think Tamia who helped me secure 3 units on the go, I was rushing with my workers to complete my move, and realized the space I booked was too small. Tamia was extremely patient and helped me fill my applications, helping me to see different units so that I could have enough space because I had so many items, and very little time. I really appreciate her help, kindness and patience, And also for holding the space for the workers while they were unloading the goods.
