SANDY was the best! We arrived early in the day from NY before our rooms were ready and she made us feel comfortable right away. She helped us figure out where to go and what to do all with the warmest smile and sparkle in her eyes. She truly made our stay so special and took great care of us. She's one of the best hotel employees I've come across at any beach resort!

We changed into our suits and were able to make use of any amenity on the property while waiting to check in. We grabbed towels at the pool and rented chairs and an umbrella down at the beach. Ordered awesome drinks and food and relaxed until Sandy called us letting us know our room was ready. The entire property and beach were amazingly clean. It's really rare to walk for miles on a beach and see maybe 2-3 tiny pieces of litter!! The water was warm too. All in all a really wonderful stay!

Had an amazing stay, friendly staff. Kid friendly and easy to access fun, shopping etc. Ali and Clint at Pool Bar as servers were wonderful! The management was accommodating and helpful. A great experience from the front desk at arrival to sadly having to leave to go home! See you soon! Thank you!

Absolutely incredible! Our whole family (my wife and I along with our 2 pre-teen daughters) enjoyed the resort and the local places and atmosphere. Very clean and updated. Right on the beach and close to everything you would need for fun in the sun. The entire staff at the resort is what put it over the top. Truly a fantastic trip made possible by Margaritaville! It was also great to visit and spend some $ in an area that is working so hard to rebuild.

UPDATE on my review. We were charged $15.00 for beer on our last day. Neither my sister or I drink beer. Even though the charge was only $14.92, they did not remove the charge. Why have wristbands if someone can just give a room number This problem was discussed with the person we checked out with AND I called when I got home (February 15th). The charge was never removed.
We had a great time in Margaritaville. Music and announcer at the pool tend to be a bit overwhelming but we just sat away from the big speakers. Happy hour signs dominate over exercise activities. But we are sleuths and found out where yoga was supposed to be as well as water aerobics. We will be back! 💕

First time here. Watched as it was built on Ft Meyers Beach and decided to go. Lovely to look at and located on the beach, we had high expectations. Our room is small. The price was not. We’ve been here three days and have not seen housekeeping. When I inquired, I was informed that they clean rooms for incoming guests as a priority and never suggested that there was daily cleaning. So the amenities ran out on day one and I’m buying k cups at Publix to have am coffee. Restaurants have been good and attentive. Food good. Probably wouldn’t come back.

Upon leaving, our room had no body wash- we used hand soap. The waste baskets were overflowing. I spilled coffee and had only towels to clean up with. Maybe some paper towels would be useful. It’s a new place. Hope these are just growing pains.

Took advantage of the Day Pass to Fins Up on a Wednesday. We were really pleased with how many lounges were there, so no frustrations and no problem getting a couple! Ours faced the beach and we got the best of both worlds. The pool was wonderfully heated for January and we had a really great time with the DJ and staff were excellent. Really enjoyed ourselves!

I hesitated for a few weeks before writing this review because I have mixed feelings on the resort.
The pros:
Once you're inside, the resort is spacious, clean, and well maintained.
Our room had a very large balcony that gave the perfect view for sunsets. If your room doesn't have a sunset view, there is a large area on the terrace to watch.
Linens, bathroom fixtures, and decor were above average.
There was live entertainment every night in at least one location on the resort.
The resort allows dogs (within restrictions) for a fee, so our 2 small dogs were welcome.
The pool area and cabana bar are located directly on the beach, giving you the options for pool, sand, sun, or shade. No matter where you were, servers bring food and drinks. The pool offered a DJ with games appropriate for families with school-aged children and still fun for adults.
Staff were friendly and professional.
Alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced, and they were not "weak." This was consistent throughout the various restaurants/ bars on the resort.
You are given a comfortable wristband with a tiny room key on it, which was very convenient.
The cons:
The valet parking area is very noisy and feels very rushed. We were provided a luggage cart upon arrival and loaded all our bags and necessities onto the cart. The cart was wisked away unexpectedly by staff, and we were left feeling unsettled about where our bags were being stored.
To make matters worse, upon check-in, our room was not yet ready. We were given wristbands to access the resort while we waited for our room, but left without our bags (no change of clothes, no swim suits, no warning!), and no supplies for our dogs.
My husband uses a wheelchair for all mobility, so using stairs isn't an option.
Even though there was an elevator right outside our accessible room, it was marked "out of order." It was very obvious that the elevator that was marked "out of order" worked just fine because the bellhop used it throughout our stay. We had to go down a long hallway (over 200 feet) to get to the next closet elevator, which is not easy with 2 dogs. This was a major inconvenience.
I found the food sub-par given the comparative local options.
Also, the room had a mini fridge but no microwave to reheat leftovers.
Overall, there were a few things that I would do differently / plan for given the "cons," but I would stay here again. This is a beautiful location that deserves your business, especially given recent impact from storms.

Absolutely loved our stay. So much to do right there and the access to the beach is incredible. The pool was heated and clean, music 🎶 in the air and the drinks (although pricey) were amazing. I wasn’t expecting some of the fees associated with the stay but next time I will definitely know or check carefully. I truly hope you #enjoy your stay as much as we did and again, just watch your wallet 🙂.
