I recently hired Mario to direct a short documentary for our organization. The video shoot took place in Indonesia, and I couldn’t be more impressed with his work. From the start, he dedicated hours to helping us prepare, guiding us on the gear we needed, planning our shooting schedule, and patiently explaining the details to those of us less experienced in this field. His expertise made what initially felt overwhelming much more manageable.

Once we arrived in Malaysia to pick up our rental gear, Mario spent countless hours ensuring everything was perfect and ready for the shoot. Despite the challenging accommodations required for filming, he never complained. Even when faced with meals that were, shall I say, less than traditional, he remained good-natured and flexible.

Mario treated the local crew and talent in Indonesia with the utmost respect and understanding, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Throughout the entire trip, he was the consummate professional.

From the raw footage I’ve seen so far, I’m confident we’ll have an incredible documentary once it’s complete. I can’t recommend Mario highly enough!

We had a shoot in Austin, and we were fortunate enough to find Mattei Visuals to provide cameras and a nice lighting package. Mario is a smart and kind person with a fantastic attitude, as well as a deep well of knowledge. Our project turned out very nicely, and the shoot itself was a pleasure.
