Paul was very friendly and helpful. Greeted me as soon as I came into the store, and politely explained the features of the different kinds of binoculars he has in stock.

His advice was excellent and easy to understand- I have a lot of experience/knowledge about optics since I am a photographer, but I didn't mention this right away. His explanations of the specs and features for each model were given in such a way that beginners would be informed, and experts wouldn't feel pandered to- awesome customer service.

I highly recommend stopping by if you're on the island, whether you're an expert in need of a specific piece of gear, or a beginner just looking for some advice before making a purchase!

Despite having prepared for my trip for any sort of fiasco, I forgot my camera charger and battery. I emailed this person for help as to their stock and what not, they were prompt in response but the best thing ever was once I came inside, he already had a battery charged for me and waiting. I loved the service and quick help! The gentleman was even nice enough to help get the packaging off the product as I had no items I could easily open it with on this trip. I highly recommend this store 👌 🙌. Mahalo!

Today I had the opportunity to walk into this store, and it brought back memories of what it once was like to shop in a local camera store. First, the owner Paul greeted me as I walked in. He had the exact camera I was looking for. His detailed demonstration was something no one can get when buying on-line. His prices were fair, and Paul’s customer service skills were outstanding. How this owner treats his customers is testament as to why his business has succeeded!

I’ve gotten several prints both recently and 10 years ago with Paul. He does an amazing job. He is the most gifted metal printer on the island. Unlike Costco or online sites, the prints I’ve gotten from him have maintained their color over 10 years. Yes, he can be grumpy at times, and is often in the back room (only reason for not 5 stars) but if you are patient with his oddities, you will discover a good human who goes out of his way to help you make your photos into a quality piece of art.

My battery and charger died while on vacation. I emailed the store because it was after hours. Paul responded with a thorough email back letting me know he had the battery I was looking for as well as a charger. He was very prompt, courteous, and saved my vacation. THANK YOU, PAUL!

Should be 6 stars. Rented a camera with an underwater housing from Paul. He talked me out of renting a GoPro and into the Olympus point and shoot. I was on a shark dive where others had GoPros and they all ended up asking for my pictures! Taught me how to use the right settings and ended up with amazing pictures! He was super fair on the pricing too!!!

Paul was great. He helped me when I thought my camera battery was completely dead. He checked it out and ended up “waking” it up. My battery started taking a charge and was able to use it to capture some beautiful vacation photos. I absolutely appreciate him taking the time to address my concern and figuring it out. We were in a serious pinch to get a print for our wedding (for guests to sign). We found the idea just before our wedding and it seemed like such a incredible keepsake for our big day. We wondered if it was possible to get it done just 5days before, and not enough time to ship. Paul made it happen! He was responsive, kind and put our minds at ease. We now have a beautiful 20x30 of our engagement shoot printed on a “vivid metal” with all our fiends and family’s love and signatures (so special). Thank you to Paul for this piece.
