As someone who lives very close to this mall, it makes me feel terrible about what it's become. I remember going to the movie theaters with my friends and we'd watch movies and find a few snacks or even eat lunch. I wish I had the money to fix the place up. If I did, I'd try to recreate and get it as close as I could to what it was before. But money doesn't grow on trees, and being an animator can only get you so far when running a family and trying to build back up after a vacation to Chicago..

Old partially abandoned mall. Some new businesses are moving in though. Furniture, flooring, a couple of restaurants, martial arts training, baseball training area with lots of batting cages, shoe store, a surplus center and more.

This was by far the most sad mall I have gone to. Bathrooms didn't exist, buckets through the mall collecting leaking water, damaged floors, and no stores to shop in. If your looking for a setting to make some amateur horror film for school then have I got the place for y'all, because the Muscatine mall is as close to dilapidated space as it can get without being condemned.

My experience at CJ Nails was good and I would go back just don't know about asking for my accent nails to be marble again. As you can see in 1st pic that was example I showed them and as you can see in 2nd and 3rd Pics doesn't really look like marble at all. But on the plus side the are very low priced compared to other nail salons in the area.
It all goes back to the old saying tho you get what you pay for

Insanely mad that older people of Muscatine screwed everyone over by constantly going to Davenport and not shopping in town. This mall could be a cultural hot spot, but instead they drove out businesses and now teenagers drive around and vape and go to Walmart instead of existing in the natural habitat of a mall.
