I went there mainly for the Starbucks inside Safeway, which unfortunately was closed. Besides no coffee I found other things I was looking for

So... this place has way more going on than may appear from the outside. From holiday bazaars to State of Alaska open houses to the random Chamber of Commerce raffle drawing, there is almost always something going on!

It was weird for this Florida girl not to be able to buy beer in the grocery store Safeway) but everyone was great and it all worked out. I also went to Sentry Hardware looking for lawnmower blades. They didn't have what I needed but they recommended a place closeby that did. I really appreciated the referral.

The hardware store here sucks. The owner is a very mean guy. Who always thinks everyone is stealing. I went in to buy a few things and he would not stop watching me. Ended up just walking out without anything will not return. Plus staff was not very knowledgeable about anything either. It's like they just try to rush you out of the store. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

Good little shopping center in North Pole, AK. They have a very nice Safeway, hardware store, variety/craft store, hair salon, nail salon and more. The safeway had a great liquor store and good souvenir section. They had a good produce section too.

Sorta sad has like 3 stores and I only ever see one or 2 open at a time. The hardware store at the end though has a surprising amount of stuff that isnt necessarily hard to find but not always in stock other places. And they have some rarities like metal stock for making shims.

I shop here at the Safeway all the time. I also buy from the hardware store, and Franklin's there too for supplies for display and packaging my beaded jewelry. Plus in the winter they have a Crafters Bazaar in December that is fun during the fireworks lighting ceremony.
