If you live in Boone and are sick of dealing with Mediacom's garbage service then switch to OTC if it's available. I've had very reliable connection and reliable speed with no outages since switching. The only negative is that it's a bit pricey for the speed.

Staff are great and nice and helpful with anything however, The Prices for the speeds you get are STUPIDLY HIGH. The 100mbps(Upload and Download) speed plan is $64.95 a month and just one town over in Boone i paid that for 1GB(Up and Down) speed with Xfinity to get the same speed with OTC you need to pay $179 and thats only 1GB download the upload is capped at 250mbps. The other thing is that OTC is currently the monopoly ISP for Ogden as no other ISP is in town so they can charge whatever they want and people just have to shovel it out.

Great internet, very reliable compared to my prior carrier. I actually get the download speeds I signed up for which I've never seen before. They just increased everyone's speed up 100mbs while lowering the monthly price and you can't argue with that!

Wildly overpriced internet service that requires you get a phone line despite the internet being fiber to the door. I haven't used a home phone in a decade, and don't see a reason why I should be charged for it. Customer service is outsourced to NetIns.
