This building is beautiful! The staff are very kind, and the contents of this museum are mind bending. They’ve got books of all kinds, a section for kids. Private reading booths, studio recording booths to reserve for free, you can even rent a bike or tricycle here to ride around downtown with your kid.

Truly a staple of this town.

This is a beautiful facility with a large stock of books and a gorgeous children's area with many resources. Also, there are numerous study rooms and very adequate computer labs for adults as well as children. However, homeless people are allowed to sleep in the chairs inside. The odor of some of these folks is horrible! The odor permeated much of the area on the first floor as my husband and I were perusing the rows of books there. There was a homeless man napping in a chair nearby, and the stench from him was nauseating!

Do not go to this place me and my son Encountered a white women up stairs and she was watching and following us I've never felt so uncomfortable and bothered in a public place I don't know what her problem was I don't know what she thought was going on or what but she was rude and made me and my son Feel not welcomed please do not go here

This new building is one of the best public library buildings that I have been to. Very modern, clean and well take care of. I hope that we, the residents of Jefferson county, make use of this library and do our bit to keep it in good shape. The book collection could be better, at least for certain topics (like non-fiction, computer programming, technology, etc), but I am hopeful such titles will be added in the future.
