Having used their service for over a decade and having had fiber direct to the home for a good part of that. Plainstel while costly is really your only choice for service. Since being a member we were suppose to get checks yearly yet we never once got one. There have been a few bumps with them over the years yet still really your only choice for internet and phone. No other service that is offered is going to match.
Planistel fiber was among the first to be installed to home for all customers.
We are no longer in their service area and our new fiber plan is much faster at a cheaper price in an even more rural area.

If you are in Plainstel's area, use their services. I've used Centurylink, HughesNet, and Starlink, but Plains is my favorite of the four providers. It is one of the few companies you can call and someone local answers on the third ring, and they actually help you. They are affordable compared to other providers, and there is value in their customer service.

This company offers low speed internet for double the cost of a standard provider. Also they charge 4x the MSRP of Equipment such as routers. 30/15 for 79.99 when Comcast charges 79.99 for 150mbps/Phone/Cable.
