I haven't played magic in a few years, I walked into the store a little skeptical at first today. Walked around for a few minutes awestruck at the amount games and collectibles and felt a little out of place. The man running the counter was super friendly and helped me to pick out a pre built commander deck and invites me to sleeve my cards and play some games with the patrons. The community at this shop was amazing and I haven't had that much fun playing magic in a long time. Everyone was super friendly and shared their decks, making the evening a blast. I can't wait fory next free weekend to play again.

Halo and Camanda (owner, I apologize if I misspelled names!) were BEYOND HELPFUL. This business is based in Iowa, and were the only ones with the Heroes of Barcadia expansion pack in stock, but the site didn’t ship to the east coast. A quick, friendly call, and we were able to order on their site!

Highly recommend for their friendliness, efficiency and dedication to their new, long distance customers!

This group will LITERALLY go out of there way for you. Not a joke, not a exaggeration. I was having issues online and this team literally did what probably NO other TCG type store/company would do to help solve the issue.

TLDR; I have tried twice with this place, and both times I have been disappointed.

The first time I tried to go to this store was for a Bandai tournament, I drove an hour to get there (coming from Iowa City). When I got there, I saw on Facebook that they had cancelled the event ~10 minutes before it started. They did not receive any product to host, which I understand completely. But I had just driven an hour, and wasted 2 hours of my night because they did not want to communicate with players.

The second time they disappointed me was when I saw on Facebook that they were getting in some new hot product that I was interested in. I called within a couple hours of the posting and asked if they could set some aside for me. The guy on the phone was very helpful and quick to put it on hold for me. I asked him if I could pay for it over the phone, because I would be out of town and unable to get it for about a week. He told me that it wasn’t a problem and it would be there on the day I could pick it up. That day was today, and before making the drive out I learned to call ahead. Thank goodness I did, because they had sold 1 of the 2 products I had asked them to hold. When looking around the shop, the person on the phone told me they had that same product held for a different customer, but had sold my copy.

I would not expect them to hold product on a first come first serve basis. There was also no communication after selling a product they promised to me.

Super friendly environment. Huge selection of products spreading across many games. By far, the best store anywhere near here. I will come to this store for any of my MTG needs. I plan to get my kids into their youth Leagues as well.

Best store withing 150 miles in any direction. Amazing staff and fantastic community!! Go a couple times a week and I don't plan on stopping.
Edit: The place continues to be a welcoming environment. With the most fair price anywhere. They do a good job of maintaining their store and hearing what the customers have to say.
