We were so glad we chose them for our wildlife viewing tour! Seeing the big tour boats out there really made me appreciate our experience on the smaller boat. Our captain did a great job getting us close to things without being too close and disturbing the animals. Overall this was one of our family’s favorite activities of our Alaska trip.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Alaska. With a small boat like this captain Connor was able to take us to small coves and see incredible wildlife including puffins, bald eagles, otters, sea lions, and even a whale. He helped us spot wildlife along the way and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Definitely recommend

This tour was probably my favorite thing that I did in Alaska! The views and the amount of wildlife was almost overwhelming! I wish the pictures could do it justice, the views look so perfect. It almost looked like it was AI generated! And to see that concentration of wildlife In the wild was absolutely amazing! Our guide was knowledgeable and did an amazing job! She gets an easy 5 stars!!

A big shout of to our guide Johanna. We went September 11th of 2024 in the rain and had a blast. I would say take their advice and bring a small snack. We took the afternoon tour and got lucky enough to see Orcas up close, sea otters, bald eagles, mountain goats, jellyfish, and black bear. It was a small boat we had three other guests with myself and partner which made the trip so much better than the large scale tours. It was nice to be able to talk with the guide and get a more personalized trip. 5 stars would definitely recommend!

This was an amazing experience! Johanna was our guide and had an eagle eye for spotting wild life and had lots of knowledge to share as well. Our group got to see eagles, an otter, a black bear, a pod of orcas, jelly fish, salmon, mountain goats, as well as other small birds.

Johanna also put a microphone into the water for our group to listen to the orcas.

Overall the experience was kind of magical.

My only suggestion is to dress warm. It is a bit colder on the water then on land.

SOE gave us the most incredible memories! Our captain checked in on us regularly to adapt the tour to the group's interests. And with a max of 6 passengers, we all had perfect views... No fighting the crowds to see the marine wildlife! I highly recommend Seward Ocean Excursions!

We had a great time! Later in the season but still our captain found us a humpback whale, otters, harbor seals, and mountain goats. She was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and area, even showing us a WW2 bunker hidden on the hill. Very personable and knowledgeable with a great small group experience.

This trip was fantastic! Captain Callie took us on our 6 hour tour. Started out with clear weather in the bay and hit some fog once in the gulf. Even with the fog, we saw humpbacks, and other wildlife on the way to Holgate glacier. The fog cleared and we enjoyed some hot drinks while taking in the beautiful glacier, more otters and whales. On the return to Seward, we got word of some humpbacks bubble net feeding, so we caught that too. My only regret was that we didn’t choose the 8 hour tour. We didn’t want the day to end. Thanks for a wonderful time on the ocean! 100% recommend!!!
