If you are looking for a production company in Oahu, look no further than Sight & Sound Productions! We worked with Kevin and his team for a small, but mighty, shoot on the island that required a lot logistics and locations. Coming from LA to shoot on location, Kevin and the team put our minds at ease and over delivered in every way. They put together an INCREDIBLE crew, all locals who were so talented, collaborative, kind and fun to work with. Kevin and team handled ALL logistics including permits, hiring extras, securing gear that was requested and some extras just in case, coordinating transpo to and from all locations, sourcing great lunch spots, etc, - literally everything you can think of that goes into a smooth set experience they handled. I cannot wait to work with them again!! Truly the best on-set experience I have had as a producer/director 🙂

I've worked with Sight & Sound from small gear rental requst to a full day studio shoot and they've been wonderful to work with every time. They treat every request with diligence, and personal attention. I can go months to years in between requests and they will remember every interaction we've had and our personal camera gear to make sure we have everything we need for the final shot. They're helpful collaborators and were particularly helpful in a studio shoot using gear we didn't even know existed in Hawaii.

I absolutely love working with the team from Sight and Sound! Kevin and Franz are so incredibly kind and accommodating. Super easy to work, flexible with changes AND they respond very quickly, which is a plus because documentary filmmaking can be very unpredictable sometimes! They make the rental process so easy and seamless and I feel really cared for each time I rent gear from them. They'll give recommendations as to what gear will work best for you depending on what kind of production you're working on and what you want to accomplish. Prior to my shoot, I was able to do a quick tech rehearsal in their prep room, which is a very well organized and beautiful space. I was able to test out my gear to make sure everything was compatible. Love them and will continue working with them!

Spent a solid two weeks looking for someone to ship 12 foot photo studio paper to Oahu to no avail. Hopeless, I called Sight & Sound and Franz picked up right away telling me they carried exactly what I needed. From there we shared a couple email exchanges for details, to which I received very prompt replies. Within a couple hours they arranged everything for same day pickup. Kevin greeted me on arrival and the crew helped load the paper into my truck. They even squeezed in a friendly tour of their warehouse. Legends.
